Incredibly nice place. Very well-known in Prague, situated on the top of Václavské Náměstí . Very fancy, with individual and very caring approach from everyone. From the lady overseeing the coat hanging room to the runners and servers. As I've mentioned it's very popular so be prepared to wait a bit until the order arrives. This place is expensive, if you're looking for a cheap meal this isn't a spot for that. Is it worth the price though? Absolutely. The steak I had (vysoká roštěná ČESTR, medium rare) felt like melting butter in my mouth. It was amazingly tender and smooth. Buttery flavor was stronger than the meat flavor itself but I think this was because of the type of cut I ordered. Depends what you like. I can only encourage everyone to go and try out for themselves - yes you'll pay a bit more but you'll definitely leave well-fed and satisfied.

It was a wonderful evening. The service 11 from 10! Meat really wonderful and the dishes very interesting and tasty. Thanks a lot. I would go there every time. The price is absolutely fair - if you consider the quality of the dishes.

We were really looking forward to this lunch and truly enjoyed the entire visit. All the dishes were beautifully presented, and it was clear that the kitchen pays great attention to quality ingredients and detail. The service was absolutely excellent – friendly, professional, and very attentive. Perhaps a bit too attentive at times 😊 They often came to check on us between courses, occasionally right when we had a full mouth. On the other hand, when we were ready to pay, we had to wait a little while before anyone came over. The kulajda and the main courses were truly delicious – the meat was delicate, perfectly cooked, and well balanced in flavor. The tartare was very unconventional, which we appreciate, but it was probably our least favorite dish. It lacked a bit of boldness in flavor, and the beetroot slightly overpowered the other components. We’re giving a full five stars because the overall experience and food quality were very good. There were a few small gaps that could be improved, but it’s definitely a place where you can rely on having a high-quality meal, and we would gladly return.

Had lunch here today by changes after we visited the museum nearby. What a great place fantastic service with great steak options and great wines list. Truly amazing. The starter slow cooked ox tail was the outstanding dish. The pancakes for desert are a must. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing dinner at Cestr Service was really attentive and lovely, food was amazing and for the price point it was very affordable. Our favourite from the starters was the asparagus soup - it was tangy, sour and a great way to start the meal A must get is their steak! It was cooked perfectly and paired with their famous truffle sauce - highlight of the meal If you could only choose a side please do yourself a favour and order their mash potatoes - silky, soft and fragrant For dessert we opted for their beer sundae - bitter but sweet, if we weren’t that full we would’ve opted their other dessert options too!
