I’ve been to many similar places, and what stood out to me here was the fact that it’s not allowed to smoke indoors. I can’t stress enough how much positive difference does it make. My first time here was the club’s 9th anniversary on Saturday, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the public was decent and polite. Another thing that I really appreciated here is that the music was well-heard everywhere it needed to be, but it wasn’t like full blast when you can’t even hear your own thoughts. Nonetheless, they sold earplugs at the bar, which is great. The only downside for me was that the toilets weren’t maintained properly closer to the end of event, many places were out of toilet paper, soap, or both. I hope this is addressed.

Love the no photos policy. Very PLUR. Safest & most open place I've partied at. One of the few spots in Prague keeping the disco scene alive. Interesting program & always a good crowd that likes to dance & look out for each other. I would only suggest more hands at the bar on busy nights, e.g. they seemed overwhelmed at some point during the last Disco Cirkev.

I’ve known Ankali ever since it opened, but this is my first time looking it up on Google and seeing its reviews. Honestly, I have no idea why and (most importantly) HOW in the hell does this little techno paradise (that I call “a tiny piece of Berlin in Prague”) have only 4.2 stars, but I know one thing for certain: I most definitely don’t agree! I LOVE this venue sooo much!! always have, most likely always will. such a cool, friendly space with the most amazing sound, crowd, and atmosphere!! I especially love the fact that I can feel truly safe in here, mostly thanks to the fantastic community of techno lovers

Just want to say THANK YOU to the staff - everyone single person right from you enter the door up, the person at the wardrobe, the bartender everyone is so so nice. The music is great, drinks are fairly priced. The nicest club I’ve ever been to. Just thank you to everyone involved

Best club in Prague for various electronic music, mainly Techno but also disco or other genres. Theres more than 500 lights on the main dancefloor! Berlin can be jealous.
