Guys, if you're searching for a beef Wellington, don't look further, here's the place to get it when you're in Phuket. We love beef Wellington and tried it at many places all over the world. At Sam's it is definitely a very good one and for sure the best on whole Phuket island! Service outstanding, prices on the steep side but totally justified. We will happily return! ❤
This Steakhouse is inside the Holiday Inn Hotel , and it is not visible from the street. Interesting decor, style years '80, perfectly maintained. The service is very attentive, large tables and intimate ambiance. Reccomended Trofie in Beef ragout (I would say a red wine brasato sauce) and the Chateaubriend beef, cook rare and served on a hot plate (not sizzling). For dessert Rhum Baba flambe. Between courses a sorbetto is served. Amouse bouche for starter. Large wine list and ample choice of wine by the glass, including an Amarone. Finish your meal with a dessert wine, in the Dessert Menu. Surely this restaurant deserve a Michelin visit, even for the long tradition this restaurant has, I guess 30 years.
Sam’s steaks and grill definitely have a fantastic service team. Definitely high quality service. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the volume, the hospitality, the service, the food and good food presentation. They are good with their whine recommendations and they serve small nibbles between the dishes. I definitely recommend the meat, because it’s perfectly cooked to your desire and it never gets wrong.
You may ask, why should I go to a Steakhouse in Thailand. Maybe not any steakhouse, but Sam‘s Steaks & Grill is really worth going. Friendly service, Caesar’s salad prepared at your table and the Sirloin I had as well as the side dishes are high class. Fully recommend and would come back any time.
Excellent food - first class restaurant in Pa Tong - Phuket. Had a birthday celebration here for my fathers 66th birthday and it was great. They had prepared a special birthday cake. It is expensive - but it is well worth it, and they have some set menu options which could make it more affordable for those on a tighter budget.
