This was a very nice experience of french and thai crossover cuisine. We could chose between a veggi and seafood menu and went with the fish / meat. Every course is well prepared and the team explains around the making off. The team is very helpful and friendly. So we had a perfect night. They have definitely owned a Michelin star. Pricing rather matches 2 stars.

Greeted by a beautiful scenery, where the restaurant is located. Service was excellent, very hospitable. Was such an experience. Enjoyed the story with every dishes overlooking the Andaman sea. Tour of the kitchen was an added touch that was really appreciated. Star dish was the King of Thorns with Caviar. Could have that for dessert! And a surprised take away was a nice gesture!

Visited in Mar 2026 PRU had been on my list of restaurants to visit for a long time, and I finally checked this establishment off my list during my recent trip to Phuket. Being the only Michelin Star restaurant on the island of Phuket, I definitely went in with a lot of expectations, and I have to say that it didn’t disappoint. As you enter, you are first taken to their beautiful lounge downstairs where the amuse bouche courses are served. The lounge is also the place where you come back to after the meal for the petit fours. You have 2 tasting menus to choose from - a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian 8 course meal. The amuse bouche bites and the petit fours are on top of the 8 courses. We went with the non-vegetarian tasting menu. The menu mostly comprised locally sourced seafood and veggies paired with some excellent fermentation-based homemade sauces. Among the initial courses, the scallop with orange sauce was my favourite. The main course was a meat course (duck) and I absolutely loved it too. The desserts were also good. All in all, in my opinion, every course of the dining experience reflected the creativity and excellence of the chef & his team. Delightful flavours, beautiful plating and most importantly an excellent mix of ingredients & produce across the various courses. We did not have any drinks but the restaurant has wine pairing and non-alcoholic pairing options to choose from. Service was excellent. From the moment you step into the premises, to the moment you step out, you are well taken care of by the gracious and courteous staff of the establishment. Overall, a truly amazing restaurant which absolutely deserves its Michelin star. A 100% recommendation for fine-dining lovers visiting Phuket.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while ! Finally this time made a booking in advance and boy this place didn’t disappoint. The journey getting there from Bang Tao itself was like going to a three star place in Europe . Was not sure what to expect as I’ve travelled and dined so Much . Great welcome from the chef and their Host Jennifer . Staff were trained and driven the whole experience was an incredibly superb dinning experience. I sat on the kitchen table - was great to see the action first hand Food was amazing and so much work gone into making those super tasty courses . The whole menu showcased outstanding skill as it’s not easy to incorporate local ingredients into the chefs philosophy but this is is a culmination of a long hard graft and honestly deserves 2 stars Was a lot of food and over three hours and eventually my back was sore sitting there but the food took away all My pain with the Duck and the Durian being my highlight s Cocktails were not bad but needed work but wine experience was exceptional Just thank you to the Pru team for this incredible dinning experience - this place is certainly worth a detour so cannot wait to come back again cheers and see ya soon 🫶🏼🥂

I really wanted to love Pru. Instead I am utterly disappointed. The place is stunning, and the staff synchronization is delightful. But I expect way more for this price point. It cost over $1,000 USD for three of us, and all the miniature courses were mediocre, when edible. We did not complete many of them. Dinner lasted a painful 5 hours.
