Had lunch here mid week recently and the food, service and venue were all superb. We opted for an express lunch and were very impressed with the value for money considering the high quality food and wine included with the deal. We were attended to by a young lady Leanor who hails from Portugal. She was very attentive and seemed to magically appear at the appropriate time to refill our water or clear the table. We originally booked a table inside but asked if we could sit outside and were easily accommodated on a lovely riverside table. Magical views, lovely food and brilliant atmosphere. We both had the rump steak with blue cheese and peppercorn sauces respectively. Cooked to perfection. She had pork belly to open with and I had the calamari which were both lovely. We finished with the crème brûlée. Lovely finish to the meal. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Beautiful place with a lovely menu and a wide variety of dishes. The red meat was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Everything was perfect except for one thing: while we were still eating our dessert, the bill and card machine were brought to our table. Being pushed to pay before we had even finished our meal (and having to stop eating to take out our credit cards) really didn’t feel right and was completely at odds with the otherwise great service. We were quite surprised and unfortunately left with a negative final impression. Such a shame, because the rest of the experience was truly excellent.

I went for lunch with my friends and had a great experience. The restaurant is very cozy and has a unique style, with many beautiful details that remind you of Africa. I would especially like to thank our waitress, Leonor, who was lovely and very attentive from beginning to end. The two managers were also very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious we tried several different dishes and really enjoyed everything. Thank you to everyone, including the chefs, for such a wonderful experience!

We celebrated our grandparents’ 81st and 80th birthdays here! Service was superb, and the food is always amazing. It did take a bit longer for our meals to arrive this time, but overall still a great experience. Booking is definitely recommended as it’s always full. It is on the pricier side, so just be prepared! 😅

We enjoyed a three course dinner at the Meat & Wine Co South Perth. Staff were friendly. Food was served quickly and it was good quality, however I asked for medium well steak but unfortunately got an overcooked steak. The rest was good.
