You know when someone recommends the “best Italian restaurant in Australia”, you understandably take it with a grain of salt. I visited on Saturday almost begrudgingly, fully expecting to be disappointed. Never have I been so happy to be so wrong! The house made pasta and sugo was honestly impossible to fault. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of seasoning, carrot / veg, and meat, with the pasta cooked to al dente perfection. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a plate of pasta (which was really generously portioned mind you), so slowly. I was recommended a Teroldego to pair with it, which truly elevated the dish. Tiramisu was heavy on the cream, but again so well balanced, it really stopped me in my tracks. Took me right back to Nonna’s home cooked meals, something I truly miss. All in all, believe the hype, this place whole heartedly deserves it, and I can’t wait to go back.

The restaurant is visually appealing, the cuisine is delectable & the service is impeccable. Dined in on Tuesday evening & ordered the blue swimmer crab spaghetti, slippery lobster linguine. Both dishes were a hit, bursting with flavor! Concluded with a tiramisu, which alone would be a compelling reason to return. Oh & let’s not forget their sourdough bread, it’s absolutely delicious!

We booked a birthday dinner at Lulu La Delizia for 5:30pm before a show we had to get to at 7pm, thinking that 1.5 hours would be more than enough time. However, we sat for 30+ minutes before the waiter took our starter order, and then had to wait a further 40+ minutes before taking our mains order. As we weren't able to finish our meals before we had to leave, we politely asked the waiter if we could please have our meals in a take away but were abruptly told "no", as "they don't do that". It's a pity as the food was really tasty, we just weren't given enough time or the opportunity to enjoy it. I do not recommend booking dinner here unless you have 3 hours to sit and wait.

Came here for Friday lunch with food and service both good. Serving sizes were good for an establishment like this, and the drinks menu is comprehensive. With 2 bottles of wine, our bill ended up being just under $500 for 4 pax.
