had an excellent stay. I booked a 4-bed dorm and even though it wasn’t private, it honestly felt like it. The room was super clean, modern, and felt brand new. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable — easily one of the best I’ve had in a hostel. Everything was spotless, well-designed, and very well maintained. The overall atmosphere was calm, quiet, and comfortable. The location is fantastic: you can walk to many places, and there’s a metro station literally right next door, which makes getting around incredibly easy. I loved everything about this place and would absolutely stay here again.
DO NOT BOOK HERE I was robbed during my stay here for $1100 and the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. Someone broke into my dorm and robbed me and another dorm mate, both of us had locks on. My dorm was located on Level 5, which requires key card access to enter the building, use the lifts, and access stairwell doors. The property explained that restaurant guests can access Level 2 — however, that does not explain how someone was able to reach Level 5. I was later told another resident allowed the individual into the dorm room, but this still raises serious concerns about how the person accessed secured hostel floors in the first place. If key card access is required throughout the building, means the thief was a paying guest or the hostel lack proper security measurements. Either scenario reflects a serious failure in security and duty of care toward paying guests. I reported the theft immediately after discovering it. No urgent action was taken at the time to review CCTV footage or assist in identifying the person responsible. I repeatedly followed up via multiple emails and was met with generic responses rather than clear answers or accountability. I was left to handle the police report and aftermath on my own. As a paying guest, I trusted that access-controlled floors would provide a basic level of safety. That trust was not upheld. Due to the security breach and the lack of meaningful assistance, I formally requested a refund for my three night stay. I would strongly encourage future guests to carefully consider the security arrangements before booking.
Amazing location. Rooms are clean but the private room bathrooms suck. There is no hook or anywhere to put your cloths while changing and the hand soap dispenser was always empty. The shower doesn’t have a regular on off Handel it’s a button that only runs water for 10 seconds after you press it. That made showers extremely annoying but definitely possible.
First of all, I don't understand why this place has high reviews. There must be a scam here or marketing stratgegy. The place is very noisy, especially at night. Although I consider myself as easy sleeper, it's still very disturbing. It's written in each floor that 'please be quiet after 10pm' but on the second floor they have bar and party every night. And they open windows and doors so till 5am, I could still all kinds of music and people talking. Super super noisy, together with other noise such as people screaming, garbage cars passing by, horns,... To make it worse, there is no air ventilation. I tried to close the window but could still here the noise from parties from second floor amd at the same time, it's hard to breath due to lack of air. If I open the window for fresh air, then big noise is everywhere. No towels or locker keys provided. You need to pay extra fee to rent it. Given this service, the price is very expensive. Water pressure is very low in shower and toilet room. It took me loooong time just to brush my teeth and showering. It's really uncomfortable. The common toilet for female is not clean. The smell of urine is everywhere. And no air conditioner so it's the heat combining with no air in the room. I don't recomment this place unless you are on budget, want to be in the central location and can accept all of the things above. At the same time, there are many better Airbnb around or nearby with similar price in Paris.
The place itself is not bad. Location is good. In general experience wasn't bad. BUT It's weird that you have to pay for everything. Yeah I know super cheap hostels where you pay for towels etc. Here you even cannot leave your stuff. You have to pay. Traveled more than 20+ countries and for the first time they charge money if your bag was in storage extra 5 minutes. You have to pay for FIVE MINUTES... It's scary to ask anything cause feels like even their answers aren't for free. So moved to another hostel nearby with better condition and service and price.
