Not just a 5-star hotel, a 10-star hotel. From the very first moment, you are enveloped with care and elegance. The atmosphere is regal, but makes every guest feel like the most important one. I had planned a special trip to France with my son, culminating in our last night at the Saint James. Even before we arrived they were eager to find ways to exceed our expectations, which they did. Both rooms were appointed beautifully with lovely amenities, and mine was upgraded due to my American Express booking. The most extraordinary element however was our dinner at Bellefeuille, ("beautiful leaf"), the spectacular Michelin star restaurant in the hotel. We had planned to go elsewhere but the rain and the late return to the hotel, as well as our immediate affection for it and the reputation of the restaurant, led us to stay, and wow--we are so glad we did. With a dazzling array of amuse-bouches and main dishes (scallops and veal that night), created in the most unusual and surprising combination of flavors, as well as a dessert of a 'wind-swept' chocolate mousse with hidden ice cream and confiture d'olive (!)) we were totally delighted. Chef Grégory Garimbay and pastry chef Colline Doussin source their ingredients from their local garden on Ile-de-la-cité. Every bite was joyful discovery and presented with careful explanations in French (at our request, and with great patience), this shared experience was one I will treasure forever. It felt like the staff was as delighted with our joy as we were, which was perhaps the most extraordinary thing. Truly an outstanding place, and I am sad that I cannot remember all the names of the people who attended to us! Merçi mille fois!!

A perfect 10/10 experience! 🐈‍⬛🍹🥃🧀 Pilou ☺️provided exceptional service and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The massages was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. We loved our breakfast at the restaurant. The food and drinks at the Library Bar are also amazing. We can't wait to return for another visit soon.

If Jay Gatsby and a Parisian philosopher decided to open a hotel together, I’m fairly certain they would have created the Hotel Saint James. My wife and I just stayed here for our anniversary, and it wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an experience so perfect it almost felt like immersive theater and YOU are the star 🤩. From the moment we arrived, the staff pulled off that rare magic trick of being flawlessly professional while also genuinely warm and kind. They welcomed us with a handwritten note and a bottle of wine that somehow managed to feel both thoughtful and cinematic, as if Wes Anderson had directed the check-in process. The Library Bar is exactly what you think a Parisian library bar should be: dark wood, velvet chairs, and just enough grandeur to make you wonder if you should be ordering a martini while quoting Baudelaire. We, of course, settled for chablis and a Croque monsieur, and it was glorious. Breakfast in the dining room was another highlight—fresh pastries that could start international conflicts, eggs prepared with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker, and coffee that single-handedly erased jet lag and restored my faith in mornings. What makes Hotel Saint James different, though, is the people. Service wasn’t just efficient; it was anticipatory with touches of magic. They seemed to know what we needed before we did, which was equal parts impressive and mildly terrifying lol (in the best way). In short: this is not just a hotel. It’s a romantic stage set in Paris where you get to play the starring role. Stay here if you want to feel celebrated, spoiled, and—if you’re lucky—slightly more French than when you walked in. Thank You Hotel Saint James for restoring my faith in true hospitality!

Loved this hotel. We were celebrating our daughter's 10 yo anniversary and the hotel arranged for a birthday cake for my daughter. Also I love the Petite Prince book they left for us in the evening. We've spend some time at the pool and in the beautiful garden. Thanks!

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The staff were great and very accommodating. For some reason, a shirt went missing during our stay which was very peculiar, and when asked upon our return home, they could not find it. It somehow disappeared out of the hotel room. I would also add that at check out, I was asked for a tip on the total hotel bill, which starting at 10%, would have been in the $1,000’s just for the tip. I declined and there was no issue, but the fact that it’s even asked degrades the value of the property in my opinion. I happily tipped directly throughout my stay to housekeeping and service staff.
