Cute hotel with spacious rooms and a great atmosphere. The location is excellent, and there is a lively vibe in the evenings. Unfortunately, we found the service to be quite disappointing overall. The one standout experience was with the waitress serving drinks in the lobby at night, who recognized us and provided friendly, attentive service each time we visited. Aside from that, our experience fell short of expectations. Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout our stay. The beds were made each day, but little else appeared to be cleaned or refreshed. Towels that we left on the floor for replacement (as instructed by the sign in the room) were often left untouched. Even items such as the hair dryer that had been left out on the counter remained exactly where they were. Having stayed in many hotels, we noticed a lack of attention to the small details that you would expect from a property at this level. Each morning, we sat in the lobby café area to order coffee and routinely waited at least 10 minutes before anyone approached us. On the first day, we eventually had to go up and ask for service ourselves. The most disappointing experience occurred on our last day. We had a late flight and asked the hotel to store our luggage after checkout. We were told that the storage room was full and that our bags would instead be left in the lobby all day, fully accessible to anyone entering the hotel. They were not behind the front desk or in a secured area, but simply placed next to the main seating area. When we expressed concerns about the security of our belongings and asked whether there was another option, the front desk employee responded, “They’d have to get past me first,” which felt dismissive rather than reassuring. We then asked whether late checkout could be arranged for one of our three rooms so we could safely store our luggage there. We were told that the rooms were needed and that we should have come down earlier before the storage room filled up. Again, the response came across as unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. As a result, we ended up carrying several heavy bags with valuables around all day because we did not feel comfortable leaving them unattended in the lobby. As frequent travelers who often choose hotels over Airbnb accommodations for the luxury of holding our bags if needed, we were particularly disappointed by this experience. Secure luggage storage after checkout is a standard service we have come to expect from hotels, especially at this price point. While the property itself is charming and well-located, the lack of attentive service and guest care significantly impacted our stay.

For Paris large room but poor service. Room is extremely noisy and cold (heating isn’t really working). Offered with Nespresso machine - yes the machine is there but no capsule offered. Neither instant coffee or tea. Shower is best medium warm. Checkin takes 30 min (with no wait) with unfriendly receptionist. Apple Pay not accepted for guarantee for a fully prepaid stay. Marketing clearly doesn’t match reality at this location. 1* Hotels offer better service. That’s not the usual standard and customer experience at Smith Hotels.

This was a nice, clean hotel in a central location in Le Marais, although I don’t think I would stay in that area again as it is kind of far from central Paris. There was a lot of street noise in our room because they put us on the first floor. The service was generally fine until we prepared to leave, when we discovered that my daughter’s Nintendo Switch had been stolen out of our room. They searched the room again for us, but they did not do anything to make it right, even though they confirmed that no one except their staff and my family had been in our room. From their perspective, we might have lost the device — except that we know for a fact that we didn’t. It was there in the room when we arrived, she never took it out of the room or even used it during our stay, and it was gone on the last day. So obviously, someone stole it out of the room on their watch. Maybe it’s unreasonable to expect reimbursement for the device, but they didn’t offer us anything — not a free meal or drink, not a discounted stay or a free night — nothing but “desolé.”

We stayed at the hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff kindly made an effort to accommodate our request for a room facing the church. The room was beautiful, cozy, and spotless. Throughout our stay, the service was consistently excellent and friendly. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of Le Marais, with easy access to many of Paris’s coolest areas, both on foot and by metro, with a station just steps away. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

This does not feel like a 4 star hotel. The rooms aren’t super comfortable, the finishing touches are bad ( not great shower for example), ugly lighting. I was a bit disappointed. Great location though and decent enough for a 2 star hotel. But I would not recommend it
