Still one of the best sushi experiences ever! I first tried this place 10 years ago, and I’m amazed that it still tastes just as good today. The fish is incredibly fresh, every piece of sushi melts in your mouth, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. Totally worth the early morning visit — this is the kind of sushi that makes you remember why you love Japan! Highly recommended.
Unbelievably fresh, high quality sushi prepared by masters. I am honoured to have had the privilege. Thank you for the most wonderful sushi meal of my short time in Japan. If you love traditional sushi and won't ruin the experience for others, just go. It's the real deal and incredible value. Cash preferred, but they now even take all forma of card/tap to pay - which was extremely convenient for me as traveler.
My go-to sushi spot whenever I’m in Osaka! The sushi is authentic, fresh, and delicious — no surprise since it’s located right at the fish market. Super value for money, too. I’d recommend getting at least two sets of the 5-piece sushi along with the miso soup for a really satisfying meal. They do have several rules, like no photography of other diners and being considerate, which is totally understandable. They’re a longstanding shop with many customers daily, and these rules help everyone enjoy their meal in peace. Hope to visit again on my next Osaka trip!
Absolutely amazing sushi. Rice is perfectly cooked with just the right amount of vinegar. The fish is fresh and delicious, the uni is the only disappointing piece as it tasted fishy and bitter. I got all four plates and was very satisfied. Came on a weekday 10am so the line was pretty short.
Simple menu — pick 1, 2, 3 or 4, or go omakase. Each set has five pieces of sushi. The sushi was simply delicious. The rice was well flavoured and the fish tasted very fresh. The clam miso soup was good too. Portions are a bit small. Three of us ordered all four sets plus an extra set and felt satisfied but not stuffed. The shop feels like it’s out of nowhere, located outside the central fish market. We took the train and walked about 1 km. Take an Uber if you prefer not to walk that far. No queue when we went, around 10am on a Monday during late July.
