Was in town for a couple days and my wife & I really enjoyed our stay at the hoxton. We arrived 2 hours before check in but they still had a room ready for us. It was a little small but that’s pretty expected for a hotel in Brooklyn. The room was very clean though which is always a huge plus. The food at the hotel is fantastic. And it’s in a prime location in Williamsburg, very walkable to anything you need. We will definitely stay again if we’re in town.
There were many good things about the hotel, however, I couldn't get past the bathroom doors were clear glass. You can see everything someone else does in the bathroom. No privacy. Why even have a glass door? The room space is tight, so the night stands are really atrocious. Bthey are small, circular with steep rounded edges which must share space with a old fashioned dial phone. The phone should be mounted on the wall and the tables should be flat top and square and maybe multi level to allow maximum space for personal items.
First - the food is AMAZING!!! As for the rest of the hotel - mediocre for the $. The rooms are insanely small, even by Brooklyn standards. The bathrooms need a major makeover. Shower floor tiles are coming up and the bathroom floods terribly when you shower. Housekeeping did not show up until close to 630 PM as my wife and I were trying to get ready to go out - so we had to refuse a full room cleaning and opt just for a quick bathroom refresh. Essentially, we did not have a full housekeeping service during our entire stay. The location is nice and the staff is solid. They are definitely pushing a Bohemian chic vibe which I am, perhaps, a bit too old for. Best advise - come for the food but stay somewhere else.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hoxton Williamsburg, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly service that immediately made me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff went out of their way to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern style with a cozy, boutique atmosphere. My room was spotless, comfortably furnished, and offered stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. I particularly loved the thoughtful touches, like the curated books and local snacks that made the space feel personal and inviting. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Williamsburg, with countless restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques within walking distance. The rooftop bar was a highlight, providing breathtaking views and a perfect spot to relax with a cocktail after a day of exploring. Overall, The Hoxton Williamsburg exceeded my expectations in every way. Exceptional service, stylish accommodations, and a prime location make this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Brooklyn. I can’t wait to return!
If I wasn't there for a professional meeting in their coffee bar area I would never have stayed. It's very nice, trendy, full of hipsters but has no soul. I felt like I was in a comedy about precious coffee places in Williamsburg. It was 90 degrees outside and they had the fireplace on. Weird. However the food and beverage were good.
