An Unforgettable Birthday at The Fulton My wife and I celebrated my birthday at The Fulton last night, and "perfection" is the only word that does the experience justice. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The Ambience & Views The decor is elegant and modern, striking that rare balance between sophisticated high-end dining and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. But the real showstopper? The views. Sitting right on the water with the Brooklyn Bridge illuminated against the night sky provided the most romantic backdrop imaginable. It felt like we were in a movie. The Culinary Experience The food was a masterclass in seafood. Each dish was a work of art, with presentations so stunning we almost didn't want to eat them—though I’m glad we did! The flavors were fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced. Every course, from the appetizers to the main, exceeded our expectations. World-Class Service & A Personal Touch What truly elevated the evening was the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and knowledgeable about every detail on the menu. A special thank you to the General Manager, George, who personally came to our table to acknowledge the birthday. That level of hospitality made us feel truly valued and turned a simple dinner into a genuine core memory. The Verdict: If you are looking for an iconic New York dining experience with incredible food and a romantic vibe that can’t be beat, The Fulton is it. We can’t wait to come back!
we come to eat here to celebrate occasions and it's always a pleasure. from the staff to the view, it's always a fantastic experience. all questions are answered with smiles and suggestions, very careful attention is placed on dietary restrictions, with substitutes lined up, and there is never any complaints or even the slightest reason to not be satisfied. the food is fantastic, with a constant evolving menu. although this means your favorite dish from one meal may not appear when you go back, rest assured something just as amazing will replace it. my personal favorite, the fish and chips, made me actually enjoy mushy peas. though it's no longer on the menu, I'm always looking forward to exploring the new additions! the corner booth with the view of the bridge is always a fantastic spot to enjoy special occasions. great food in a great city with great company; elevated to excellence at the Fulton.
The Fulton is a perfect weekend brunch spot, especially if you’re in the mood for something relaxed yet elevated. The $1 oyster offering is such a great touch; fresh, clean, and incredibly enjoyable. It’s hard to beat that value, especially paired with the setting. The view is truly stunning, overlooking the water with the Brooklyn Bridge in sight. It makes the entire experience feel special without trying too hard. Service was also excellent, attentive, friendly, and seamless throughout. Definitely a place I’d return to for a slow, scenic brunch.
My family always celebrates at Jean-Georges, and recently we decided it was time to try The Fulton at the Seaport. Out of Jean-George’s collective, this one is the seafood-focused restaurant (since it’s on the water), which I was wary about since I’m not adventurous in that cuisine. When we arrived, the hostess seemed to be expecting us and made it feel as if we were returning guests, even though it was our first time dining. The highlight of our time was our waitress, Danielle. She was extremely knowledgeable about seafood and got my family to try dishes I would’ve never expected. The octopus mozzarella and the swordfish were amazing. My husband raved about the Branzino and wants to come back for it again. As always, Jean-Georges doesn’t disappoint, but what made The Fulton a great outing to me was the experience that Danielle provided my family. She was very charismatic and delivered a service that made us feel as if we were VIPs on our special day. Request her if you can!
I’ve dined here a few times but this past Saturday night was phenomenal. Every dish was outstanding and our server Jane was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
