The experience I had was very good. Everything was always very clean and organized, and the service was excellent. The location is very convenient, with places to eat and markets nearby, as well as fast deliveries through Uber Eats. The subway station is basically right across the street, which made getting around very easy. I stayed alone for one week and felt very safe, both in the hostel and in the surrounding area :)

I stayed in this hostel for the first time a few months ago back in October 2025 and it was a great experience! I picked it because it was easy to get to from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal and to the LaGuardia Airport the next day. I stayed in an all female room and had a smooth experience overall. I arrived early but was allowed to hang out in the basement common room until I could check in. I spent one night there and had a good experience with the room and shower being clean. The basement common room has a microwave and a pool table which were both great. I slept through the night with headphones on because the nearby train is very loud & I'm used to blocking hostel noise out with headphones. Then checking out was smooth as well! Overall it was a great location with a store next door and easy access to public transit so I would recommend it and I'd stay there again

Probably the worst hostel I've stayed at. Staff is not very nice, got a room at the 3rd floor without elevator. The heating is really uneven in the rooms so some people are really cold and some other like me are frying because I had the bed right below the heating unit. Also the restrooms and shower are directly in the room, the layout of these is really bad, couldn't go relieve myself without being sideways because the toilets were installed probably one foot from the wall. No lock on the shower and not even a thing to put your clothes or towel without them getting wet. Anyways a lot of negative things, and let's not talk about the basement shared spaces with zero windows.

Stayed there for 3 nights, very big decent clean bathroom. There is no elevator so keep that in mind bc we had to pull our luggage up 😔. Jenifer was amazing! we were really lost bc we didn’t know where to leave our luggage on our last day but she really helped us and let us leave our luggage at the hostel so so amazing! also like a 2min walk to the nearest subway station PERFECT. will def be staying here again.

I spent 15 days at this hotel and I was more than delighted. Everything about this place is excellent. The reception staff are polite, welcoming, and very helpful — especially Jennifer, who is truly the best: kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The housekeeping staff clean the rooms every day, and everything is always spotless. The kitchen is also very clean and well organized. The location is perfect: the subway is just one minute away, making it very easy to get around the city. There are also many shops and markets nearby where you can find everything you need. Security is excellent — during my 15-day stay, I always felt completely safe. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
