One Hotel Brooklyn is a true standout in every way. The hotel itself is modern, chic, clean, and has unforgettable views from the rooftop. But what stands out the most is the incredible, warm and welcoming staff. My wife and I shared our 30th wedding anniversary here and the entire staff from the parking attendant to the front desk manager made us feel special. A special shout out to Selena, Justin, Kitty, Vanessa, and Steandly for their kindness and exceptional customer service. But Ms. Adora Lopez takes the cake. She should be running the country. We were blown away with her excellent communication, timely replies, and for her genuinely caring that we had the absolute most memorable time possible. We will always be grateful for her. All in all, this location will exceed lofty expectations for that special day, no matter what it is. Much love to all, Joseph & Alicia Staskiewicz

I booked a stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge expecting the level of hospitality and attention to detail the brand is known for, especially at an $800/night price point, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. From arrival, the service felt cold, dismissive, and genuinely rude. Valet staff offered no greeting or assistance, and throughout the stay the overall attitude from multiple staff members felt unhelpful and indifferent. I can honestly say I have never been treated so poorly at any hotel, especially not one that markets itself as a luxury five-star property. If you’re planning to stay in DUMBO, I would honestly recommend choosing almost any other hotel. The room itself also had cleanliness issues, including visible dust buildup and mold around the sink area, which was unacceptable for a hotel at this level. The dining experiences were equally frustrating. At Harriet’s Rooftop and Barbuto, reservations were accepted late into the evening, yet guests were rushed through service almost immediately after being seated. At Harriet’s, we were pressured to meet a drink minimum while staff simultaneously began last call, turned lights on early, and rushed guests out shortly after accepting 11 PM reservations. At Barbuto, dinner service felt rushed to the point that dessert was never even offered before the check was dropped. What made the situation even more disappointing was the response afterward. I reached out to management privately because I genuinely could not believe how poor the overall experience was. The only resolution offered was an invitation to return at some undisclosed discounted rate so they could supposedly provide the experience that should have been delivered the first time. I found that incredibly tone deaf. After such a disappointing stay, being encouraged to spend even more money with the brand instead of receiving meaningful accountability or resolution only further damaged my trust in the hotel overall.

Stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and this one actually surprised me in a good way. The location is hard to beat. Right by the water, with a direct view of the skyline and the bridge. Especially around sunset or at night, it just hits different. The whole vibe of the hotel is very clean and modern. A lot of wood, natural materials, nothing feels overdone. Rooms are not huge, but well designed and comfortable. What stood out the most was the atmosphere. It feels calm, almost like a little escape from the city, even though you’re right in it. Service was good, no issues, everything smooth. It’s not a cheap stay, but compared to a lot of places in New York, this one actually feels worth it. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

We had such an amazing stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, they truly exceeded all of my expectations. Our room had a breathtaking view of the Brooklyn Bridge, which made the entire experience feel even more special. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, from the stunning lobby to the signature scent that makes the space feel so warm and inviting. Every detail is thoughtfully curated. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their guests. They also went the extra mile with a sweet gesture for my daughter’s birthday, which meant so much to us and made the trip even more memorable. Overall, an incredible experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back! 🖤

I enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at 1 Hotel in Brooklyn in December with my daughter. We were celebrating her birthday and New York did not disappoint! 1 Hotel was the perfect spot to explore the city without the chaos that is inevitable during the holiday season. From the moment we arrived until check out, the service was on point! The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms were pure luxurty. Brooklyn is also a lovely area to walk around with amazing food choices. It was just a short subway ride or walk across the bridge into NYC. Thanks to everyone at 1 Hotel for making my daughter's birthday such a special one!
