One of my favorite spots in the New Orleans art scene is the Stella Jones Gallery. This 'unicorn in the art gallery market' champions the work of local artists of color, showcasing their talent alongside established masters. Not to be missed! This gallery always has incredible exhibitions by premier AFAM artists and emerging talent. One of the best!

Stella and Beryl were absolutely amazing. I went to the gallery last week, and they had a Lavett Ballard exhibition showcasing some of the most captivating works I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend visiting this gallery the next time you’re in New Orleans if you’re looking for fine art from black artists.
