Couldn't recommend more highly! My guide, Jamie, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of New Orleans. The house itself is beautifully preserved and located in a picturesque part of the city. I loved learning about the West Indies architecture, the realities of daily life, and the broader historical context. This is a hidden gem and a must-see for anyone interested in New Orleans history beyond the usual tourist spots!

I’ve always wanted to see the Pitot House. It’s a rare gem of architecture in Louisiana. The house, tour, and garden were amazing! Karen’s knowledge about history was exceptional!! I was very impressed and very happy with the experience! I highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic tour just the two of us. Lovely home and story. Great add when in the city park area.

The Pitot House Museum is a beautiful colonial style home filled with period era furnishings. We learned from the tour that the home was originally built where the Cabrini facilities are now located and was moved a few hundred feet to the present site. The tour is very interesting, filled with information and the home is delightful to see.

We had an amazing experience at The Pitot House Museum, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jamie. She is absolutely incredible — her knowledge of New Orleans history is truly impressive, and she presents it in such an engaging and thoughtful way. It was a real pleasure to listen to her. Jamie is also incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. This tour exceeded our expectations, and Jamie made it unforgettable.
