Tin Roof Café in Karen, Nairobi is a lovely spot, especially if you’re looking for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The café is set in a beautiful garden, which makes it a perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and spend a peaceful afternoon. One of the nicest features is the small playground, making it very family-friendly and ideal for parents who want to enjoy a meal while their children play nearby. Absolutely loved my experience at Tin Roof Cafe! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every time I go to Tin Roof Karen, I always end up ordering the burger and fries because it’s become my favorite. The burger is consistently good, the fries are great, and it always hits the spot. It’s definitely become my go to order whenever I visit. The ambience at Tin Roof Karen is lovely, with a peaceful outdoor feel that makes it a great spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or just enjoy good food in a beautiful environment. Another plus is the convenient parking. The service is usually good. Although when it gets really busy it can sometimes slow down a little, but on quieter days it is excellent and the staff are always attentive and welcoming.
The best thing about this place is the ambience and location. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I ordered the Casava "Pancakes" which are actually crepes, NOT pancakes so be warned. It needs something with it like fruit, otherwise just plain and unsatisfying.
