Talisman is a quaint cosy restaurant. Designed in Lamu Style decor, wooden tables, carved windows and chairs. Gorgeous lamps and wall paintings. Candlelight lighting...soft lighting, warm and comfortable. The food is first class. Fresh and well prepared, sushi, seafood, chicken, burgers, steaks...a mixture of regional cuisines. The cocktails are to die for. The service fast, attentive, professional. The waiters discreet and thorough. We loved it.
Talisman never disappoints. Even on a busy Saturday night after Thanksgiving, parking was easy and our reservation was kindly held despite us arriving late. We ordered from the chef’s Thanksgiving menu—tuna carpaccio to start, turkey breast for the main, and pecan/pumpkin pie for dessert. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and served promptly. The atmosphere was lively yet organized, with plenty of seating options and attentive service. Overall, a lovely evening—Talisman remains one of Nairobi’s most reliable spots for a delicious, well-made meal.
Loved the vibe here! The staff are great and the food is worth every penny. We worked our way from fresh salads🥗, delicious Maki 🍣 the steak 🥩and chicken🍗—and yes, the Nyota wings definitely live up to the hype. I was way too full to try the desserts🥧🍧, which is a shame because the variety looked incredible🍹⚡
Talisman is a fantastic restaurant. The service was prompt and thorough, the food was fresh and flavorful. Definitely try the pork belly and szcheuan eggplant...they are to die for. Also the toffee pudding!
The restaurant is very vibrant & beautiful. The food😍 Everybody enjoyed their meal including one colleague who has strict dietary restrictions was able to find sth for her on the menu. My meal was so rich in flavor. My mocktail was to die for. Loved it.🤩 Our driver recommended it & we for sure enjoyed. He also mentioned that if a driver brings guests there they get a meal for free. That is so thoughtful of them. As we were leaving, we spotted their inhouse artist working on some art that was beautiful. Checkout the photos✨
