Great music and DJ. Cocktails are very good. Buzzing and humming from midnight to 2am on a weekend . Amazing place for an evening out with drinks and shisha. Very lively and buzzing with activity

I have been to The living room couple of times, however I noticed some of the staff are rude, yesterday I went with my friends when we got there we were told that they just allow couples; which I completely understand but the guy and the lady (hosts) were not polite the guy was giving me information without even looking at my face he was being dismissive. I get that W it’s kinda funky but they represent Marriott it was really bad moreover after the experience last night I doubt I’ll even go to them again. The hosts should have empathy.

Hotel bars can often be hit or miss – The Living Room is definitely a hit. During my recent stay at the W Hotel Muscat, I found myself returning here nearly every evening, and for good reason. The bar strikes a perfect balance between sleek modern design and warm hospitality. Both the bartenders and service staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making each visit feel personal and welcoming. The space features both indoor and outdoor seating, giving guests the choice between a cozy, vibrant interior and a more relaxed open-air vibe. Music plays a big part in the atmosphere – always cool and curated, though it can get a touch loud indoors depending on the evening. As for the drinks: their Negroni is outstanding and became my go-to, though the martini and espresso martini also deserve a shoutout. Impressively, the quality holds up with room service cocktails too – a rare feat. The food menu complements the drinks perfectly; the wagyu beef sliders were a highlight. A few things to note: dress smartly (there is a dress code), and Bonvoy members get a nice discount – a great added bonus. Whether you’re staying at the W or just looking for one of Muscat’s top cocktail experiences, The Living Room is well worth a visit.

Very unprofessional customer service. I visited today and no one came to take my order, so I had to get up myself and ask for assistance. I was told someone would come, but after waiting for around 30 minutes, no one showed up. I ended up leaving without being served. Unfortunately, the staff performance does not match the standard of the place. I specifically noticed two staff members (one Filipina and one blonde) who were inattentive and unhelpful.

Beautiful place with an incredible interior design and a nice terrace with a great view. The staff were very kind and welcoming. DJ Sophie played great music and I really enjoyed my time there.
