If you are rushing, or hungry then this restaurant is not suitable for you. They are super slow! Despite we only order simple 3 meals (grilled hamour, fried amber, and seafoods soups) The foods is good especially the fried fish, the sweetness preserved well. Whereas the grilled fish & Alexander seafood soup is not something new. Unfortunately the services is too slow, despite only 2 groups (including us). I wish the shop owner inform us earlier they have other bookings that they prioritise more than us (since we came first). We are tourist from Dubai, and rushing to travel back home. It’s more than 40 minutes wait. No apologise or explanation. Suddenly, you seen later comers were served first than you. Even the waiter shown sour face after i asked 3x about our foods! The shop is also small, without toilet and the price is just average. Quite hot inside. I am not enjoying the foods at all with above mentioned downside

This is one of the best restaurants who serves fish I have ever tried. The taste is amazing and the spices are well balanced. It is fresh and authentic. The grilled shrimps 🍤 is one of the best and fish is exceptional and finally the grilled squid is something done in a very unique way and it was the best I tasted ever. I recommend strongly.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Samakmak Restaurant during our visit. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The food was the true highlight, every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood in particular stood out, cooked to perfection and full of authentic taste. You can really tell that quality and freshness are a priority here. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely well cared for without being overbearing. Overall, Samakmak Restaurant exceeded our expectations. Great food, great service, and a lovely setting, it’s definitely a place we would recommend and happily return to! only down side is that service is abit slow and they forgotten to give us the drinks.

Fresh fish and other seafood - you can choose anything you want from the fresh seafood display and you pay per weight. The food is really delicious and very much affordable. 💯 recommend!
