We stayed here 31st May - 2nd June for a few days of rest inbetween visiting family here and WOW. From the moment we stepped into the hotel grounds, every staff member we came across was polite and always so helpful. The check in lady was so warm and welcoming. The gentleman that showed us to our room again very warm and welcoming. The room was of good size, perfect for 2 adults. Lots of space and the bathroom was huge!! The staff in the main concourse cafe were very polite and always on hand! I had probably the BEST chicken Caesar salad I have ever had and my mum had the chicken club sandwich which she said also was the best! The breakfast options were tasty and delicious...So many options covering a wide variety of country specialities! The pastries were to die for! The swimming pool and staff were incredible!! Me and my mum have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely will recommend to anyone!
The Grand Hyatt is a beautiful hotel - Beautiful hotel nice and comfortable. very good breakfast, the qualified and polite staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. when you walk in you're met with high ceilings, impressive giant stained-glass windows overlooking the pool, a statue of a horseman holding a falcon... it's traditional and comfortable. It's also family friendly - the pool is a good size with a lazy river around the outside and there's a separate child's pool, plus water fountains and a wooden ship for climbing. The staff and service were absolutely brilliant - extremely helpful, kind with our baby, engaged and a pleasure to interact with.
My experience at the Grand Hyatt Muscat was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is extremely expensive, yet the quality and service do not justify the price at all. In many situations it felt difficult to get even simple things arranged. Staff often responded that things were “not possible,” and it required unnecessary discussion just to resolve basic requests. Another issue for me was that the hotel did not feel Muslim-friendly. This made the stay uncomfortable compared to what I expected in Muscat. What stood out most was that the lowest-paid staff members were actually the most kind and helpful people in the hotel. Unfortunately, the overall attitude in the hotel felt quite arrogant, as if it relies on its reputation rather than actual quality. Cleanliness was also not at the level you would expect from a hotel that positions itself as one of the best in Muscat. Overall, this stay felt like a waste of money. I will not return, and based on my experience I cannot recommend staying here.
Excellent hotel experience overall. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and I really appreciated how quiet and elegant the lobby was. Everything felt comfortable and well maintained. I originally planned to stay for 3 nights, but the excellent service made me extend for another 4 nights, so I ended up staying for a full week. That alone says a lot about how wonderful the experience was. Highly recommended for a getaway or anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Muscat and was absolutely delighted! This place perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and a high level of service. The hotel is beautifully designed in an elegant Eastern style, and both the architecture and interiors create the atmosphere of a true Arabian fairytale. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully arranged — from high-quality toiletries to the cozy ambiance. Housekeeping was done daily and at a high standard. I would especially like to highlight the staff — incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help. You can truly feel genuine hospitality and care for guests. One particularly memorable moment: we asked about the name of a chili sauce in the restaurant, and the chef not only told us about it but also gifted us a whole jar — a very unexpected and приятный gesture! The breakfasts were diverse and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes for every taste. The restaurants on the hotel grounds were also impressive — excellent cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, and the pool is clean and comfortable: there is a bar right in the water, the sun loungers are always clean and neat, and towels are provided separately, which is very convenient. The location is also great — close to the sea with beautiful views. This is a perfect place both for leisure and business trips. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone!
