One of the most professional and courteous welcomes we have ever had in a restaurant. As soon as you are sat down, you are provided with a welcome dish of prawn crackers and vegetables, as well as a warm Chinese tea. The service was so professional and fast with drink orders taken straight away. We were extremely impressed. The restaurant itself has stunning decoration giving a real Chinese feel throughout the meal. We were a group of 4 and my partner and I ordered vegetable spring rolls for a starter, Sweet and sour chicken, steamed rice and vegetable noodles for a main. The portion sizes are big. This was more than enough for two people to share. Prices are reasonable for the restaurant. The food itself was delicious. Our only negatives / room for improvement would be the cocktails. They were not what we expected from the order. The restaurant has great reviews for its mixologist, however the cocktails we ordered were quite strange compared to what we were expecting. Overall a great visit, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I was celebrating my birthday and the restaurant kindly provided a decorated cake for myself and my party to enjoy.

Delicious food, and great staff! A major improvement throughout its years of operation. The prices though are HEAVILY exaggerated! So much to recommend, from the dumplings, to the Kung Pao chicken, honestly most of what we ordered was just good! The Peking Duck in particular was amongst the best I've had in awhile. A MUST order! The staff is genuinely very friendly. Very attentive, professional, and constantly smiling. The decor of the place looks, and feels cosy. A great place to have nice conversations in, as you dine. Definitely recommending this place to whoever sees this review, and can afford to dine here.

Ba Ban at W Muscat is a stylish, modern Chinese restaurant with a glamorous atmosphere and great energy. The red lantern entrance and chic dining room set the tone for a fun and elevated evening. I tried the Signature Dim Sum Platter, which was beautifully presented and well executed. Delicate, flavourful and a great way to sample the menu. The Lobster Dan Dan Noodles was delicious. The lobster was lightly coated and fried, though I would have preferred it not fried. The dish had a bold, spicy sichuan sauce with great depth of flavour. Service was excellent. Manager Aba and server AJ were both attentive, warm and very service focused. A great spot for stylish Chinese fine dining in Muscat.

Everything was perfect here. The place is beautifully decorated, the staff make you feel in an extra luxurious restaurant and the food was amazing. The dishes are fusion so you have very interesting flavors. We asked for recommendations to the kind waitress based on what we like and were not disappointed. The restaurant is part of the W hotel so you can ask the reception to make a booking for you if you’re guest. They have also a room that seem to be available for a private dinner - it looked stunning.

Dining at Ba Ban was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, our experience was elevated by the warmth and care of our hostess, Shivali, who made us feel truly welcomed. The Peking duck was perfectly prepared.. tender and flavorful. The Omani lobster in XO sauce was pure indulgence, and the freshly made vegetable noodles tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was rich, bold, and bursting with flavor. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers not just incredible food but a memorable experience, Ba Ban is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
