The best location to stay in Munich. It's literally in front of the Main Station (Hbf), but the area is still safe, love it. VERY clean and quiet. It has a nice inner garden but it’s not too social. The rooms are big, with a large table, lockers with PIN codes, individual lights, outlets, a safe, and curtains. The hostel itself is perfect, but if you’re looking for something really social maybe it’s not the best place. Also the people staying there are usually 25+ so if you’re trying to meet people around 18-24 it’s not that easy. For me, 10/10 because of the location, cleanliness, and coziness :) Also the staff is super kind!

Unfortunately, my room had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time. Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional. I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.

It was my first experience and it was very good. The room was very clean and the staff friendly. Everything worked out fine. They also had good free walking tours. The only minor downside was that the room was kind of hot even with outside being cold, but the fan in the beds fixed it. Would definitely recommend it.

location is great but the toilet and shower isn't separated into 2 rooms, so if someone is using it, the rest of us has to wait even if you just want to wash your hands. Booked here for the free luggages before check in and out after looking at booking questions, but arrived and was told that free storgae was no more. payed double the price compared to my other option, then still have to make the bed myself. will not consider in my future trips.

I had a great stay at Wombat’s Hostel in Munich. The staff at the reception were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect — very close to public transport and within easy reach of the city center, which made everything really convenient. My room was very clean when I arrived (I was the first guest in the room, so everything was perfectly prepared). Later, another guest arrived and the room got a little messy, but that’s not the hostel’s fault at all. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, which was really important to me. I would definitely recommend this hostel!
