After visiting the Science Museum, I stopped by this Wirtshaus and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for—warm, traditional, and full of character. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were incredibly soft and flavorful, and the schnitzel was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. It was the ideal place to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal after a long day of exploring. I would definitely come back again!
Wow! We had such an amazing dinner here. The atmosphere was perfect, our server, Mario, was lovely and very attentive, and the food was so flavourful. We ordered the Knödel, bratwurst, and finished off with pretzels. Absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely come back again. They truly focus on quality in both the food and the service. Excellent work!
Really great visit, managed to get a seat for 2 without booking on a Sunday evening. I had the burger which was one of the best I’ve had and my partner had the duck and pork which he said was delicious. Friendly service. Menu all in German but English version on the website. Would definitely visit again.
This was the best restaurant we visited during our time in Munich! Mario was an excellent waiter who helped us with making our food and drinks selection. He even let me try the wine before I ordered a full glass. Paulaner beer was great too here. The food is very well made, and it has a great combination of flavors and textures. I enjoyed the cabbage with sweet apple topping. The duck was phenomenal, and the Knodls are excellent. I also had their house red wine, which was amazing. The place is outside of downtown area, it has a great vibe inside, and it is well decorated. It is a very quiet area and you can get there by train and walking. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
We went for Christmas Day dinner, place was packed. Reservations needed, but we were lucky to have a table right away on a high table close to the door. We ordered plater which including some sausages, cheeses, 4 different flavored butters and the most fresh red pepper I’ve ever tasted. Both of us had duck and pork entree. Delicious but quite big portions to us. The guy served us was so nice and attentive. Thanks to him we had a wonderful time!
