The cocktails were really nice. We asked the manager, Kostas, to create the cocktails for us. The service was incredibly good. We ordered roast beef, which was perfectly cooked. The liver bread was delicious too. The place seemed full house all the time. Reservation is a good idea.
This is probably one of the best cocktail bars in Munich, and the quality of the drinks is undeniably high. That said, with such a strong reputation, expectations naturally become very high as well. If I had visited without knowing all the hype surrounding the place, I would easily have given it five stars. The cocktails and overall experience were excellent, but for me it didn’t quite live up to the extraordinary level that many people describe. Still, it’s definitely a place worth visiting for cocktail lovers.
For me, this is truly one of Munich’s iconic hot spots—especially on Thursday nights. It’s simply the place to be if you want to see a great crowd, enjoy an exceptional atmosphere, and experience one of the city’s finest bars. From Thursday to Saturday, the energy is unmatched: stylish, vibrant, and full of life. It’s not just a bar, it’s a true institution with over 40 years of history, still setting the standard in Munich. This time, I also had the pleasure of seeing the legendary owner, Charles Schumann, which made the experience even more special. A true gentleman—his presence and charisma perfectly reflect why this place has remained an icon for decades. Without a doubt, a place that fully deserves its reputation and continues to be a trendsetter in Munich. Congratulations.

This is one of the oldest bars in Munich — with its own history, atmosphere, and a very delicious cocktails. Love this place. Always feel welcomed. Coming here my Birthday tradition
