From outside it looks small but one you enter, the high ceiling and stained glass make you feel you went back in time. The staff is wearing Bavarian costumes, and we loved it so much we went there twice. The first time was for a Bavarian white sausage breakfast, and we had friends waiting for us already. They told us that the waitress is actually acting the part, not just wearing a costume, so we got motherly nudging to start breakfast already. It’s a very authentic Bavarian place with great food and beer, and atmosphere at a reasonable price.
Seated promptly during the very busy Christmas markets. So many awesome choices on the menu. We began with a pretzel to share. Food came out fast, service was very attentive. Offered a menu in English. Highly recommend! When the Hofbrauhaus is too noisy and crowded, remember this place! Very close to the Marienplatz too!
We had such a lovely meal at Weisses Bräuhaus—one of those classic, cosy spots that feels exactly right the moment you walk in✨ The goulash soup was delicious and comforting, the sausages were tasty, and the sauerkraut and potatoes were done just right—simple, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Even the salad felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared, which I always appreciate. Service was a touch on the rough side at moments, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience—still an enjoyable, authentic moment. I’d absolutely return💖 #CallSana #CallSanaRecommends #SanaApproved #TravelingRealtor #TasteOfTheCity 😘
A great place with typical Bavarian food and atmosphere. Excellent dishes, a taste of Bavaria. You have many beer labels to choose from. Very close to the city center. The only minus: personnel could (and should) be friendlier.
Reflecting on my visit to Munich two years ago, I can still recall the discrete effervescence of a brewery that has elevated Bavarian tradition to an art form: Schneider Bräuhaus. Located just steps from the vibrant Marienplatz on Tal Street, this establishment is more than a restaurant; it is a living chronicle of Munich. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by solid wood paneling patinated by history and an atmosphere that exudes a robust refinement, entirely free of unnecessary pretension. What makes Weisses Bräuhaus an unmissable destination is its unwavering devotion to quality. Here, the famous wheat beer (Weissbier) is not merely a drink but a centerpiece of conversation, served with a precision that betrays decades of mastery. Gastronomy with Deep Roots The menu is a celebration of regional cuisine, executed with surprising finesse: ●Rare Specialties: This is one of the few places where traditional Kronfleisch recipes (beef specialties) are prepared with a culinary rigor worthy of the most demanding palates. ●The Ambiance: The hum of animated conversation, the clink of glassware, and the polite, discrete service create a setting where you instantly feel part of a community of good taste. A Lasting Memory: My visit remains etched in my mind as the perfect balance between the comfort of a well-crafted beer and the elegance of dining in a historic setting. Schneider Bräuhaus represents the authentic spirit of Bavaria: proud, welcoming, and impeccable in its details. It is my heartfelt recommendation for anyone wishing to discover the true pulse of the city, far from tourist clichés, in a setting where etiquette blends naturally with the joy of living.
