Stayed at Rosewood Munich recently and honestly had mixed feelings about the experience. At check-in, they upgraded me one category higher, which I appreciated a lot. The biggest issue throughout the stay was the service speed. Every time I requested something, it took a very long time to arrive and I often had to call multiple times to follow up. One night I called asking for tissues and was told they had completely run out, which honestly shocked me for a 5-star hotel. The next morning, the manager called me to apologize (although the call woke me up), then later sent a WhatsApp message and a cake with an apology card, which I appreciated. They also kindly offered me a late check-out until 2 PM. Another major issue was the room temperature. The room stayed extremely hot even with the AC set to the coldest setting, to the point where I had to request a fan. For a luxury hotel, this was disappointing. At check-out, I called around 4 times asking for help with the luggage. They arrived about 15 minutes later, which caused me to be late since my driver was already waiting. That said, the location is excellent and probably one of the hotel’s strongest points. Overall: beautiful property and great location, but the operational/service side still needs improvement to truly match a 5-star luxury experience
My experience after staying at Rosewood Munich has been extremely concerning. I stayed on 29 January 2026 (confirmation 42089SF085526) and checked out early on 30 January due to an emergency. At check-in I paid a €3,140 security pre-authorization. My final bill was €2,764, so €376 was due back to me. The refund never arrived. After two weeks I contacted the hotel and was told there had been an error and that the deposit had supposedly been released on 12 February. However, on 25 February a second charge of €3,140 was taken from my account. I have now paid €6,280 for a one-night stay and still have not received the €376 balance. I have spent significant money on international calls trying to fix what should be a straightforward accounting correction. I have contacted the hotel multiple times and the issue remains unresolved. For a luxury hotel brand, the handling of a serious billing error and a duplicate charge has been alarming and financially stressful. I urgently request Rosewood Munich’s management and accounting department to correct the duplicate charge and process the outstanding refund immediately.
I stayed at Rosewood Munich for five nights, and I can honestly say it is one of the finest hotels I have ever experienced. What impressed me the most was the exceptional level of service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Housekeeping was provided twice daily, and I was pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful gifts and treats left in my room almost every day. These small gestures made the stay feel truly special and reflected the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. The hotel’s restaurant deserves special recognition. The quality of the food was outstanding, the flavors were exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the variety of options was remarkable. Every dining experience exceeded my expectations. The property itself is absolutely stunning. The interior design and décor are luxurious, elegant, and executed with extraordinary attention to detail. Every corner of the hotel reflects sophistication and timeless beauty. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable, and equipped to the highest standards. After long days of meetings and activities, returning to the room felt like a luxury experience in itself. The facilities are equally impressive, offering everything one would expect from a world-class luxury hotel. Finally, the location is simply perfect. Situated in the heart of Munich, the hotel is within walking distance of many major attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and public transportation, including nearby metro stations, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Rosewood Munich has set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in my experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich and look forward to staying there again in the future.
The hotel exceeds on a lot of fronts -- amazing location, beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, excellent service and multiple dining options. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint is the breakfast. We were expecting a lavish breakfast buffet like most European hotels offer and were shocked at the meager selection of options. Further, what was offered was mediocre at best. The menu options were also not great and the overall quality of the food was fair at best. While we would stay here again, the lack of a good breakfast completely changed our overall experience.
The property is amazing! The rooms are clean and the service from entering to departing offers high quality service. They are super polite and professional. The spa receptionist was an amazing and helpful girl. The most amazing thing though is the breakfast. Freshly cooked and baked options Congratulations to Florian and Niko. Excellent breakfast service!!!
