This fish restaurant is located in the Old Town, right by the Old Town market. It always features an impressive display of seafood, which immediately gives you the feeling that the ingredients are very fresh. During this visit we kept it simple and ordered pasta with prawns along with a salad. Everything was very tasty. The pasta tasted fresh, and the prawns were well prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a very nice place to visit if you’re in the Old Town and want to enjoy good, fresh seafood in a lively and unique market area.

The fish was incredibly fresh! We started with the fish soup, it was delicious and full of flavor. I also tried oysters for the first time, which was a really nice experience. For the main course, we had sole fish; it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Overall, I’d say this is one of the best spots in the city center for seafood lovers. Highly recommended!

Ate lunch at this restaurant for 2 days consecutively, that’s how good this place is. The seafood is fresh, and you can even choose which seafood you want from their showcase selection. The seafood soup is comforting & packed full of ingredients. The pasta is flavourful, and even just the simple grilled dishes are superb.

When we arrived we asked for a free table and the maitre d basically shrugged us off to go look ourselves. There were a few free tables but they weren't cleaned and this took a while to get done. We had to fetch our own menus and had to flag down a waiter to put in an order. Our waitress was initially very rude but thawed out by the end, though still not great. So overall I'd say their customer service needs some serious work, especially for this price point. I understand the price has to be this high because it's fresh seafood in a landlocked area, but I will say that the level of cooking technique and presentation, though tasty, wasn't up to a professional standard. It felt more like good home cooking - still enjoyable but did not match the price. However, given that most of Munich's food is meat-heavy, I can see why here remains so popular.

As usual some waiting time as it’s crowded. Ordered a spaghetti with seafood, everything was alright till I discovered a piece of sharp plastic in the dish, got the server came and had a look, there’s no any recovery action, just asked if I finished the dish and wanted to clear the table. It’s absurd and unacceptable for the food safety issue and service attitude.
