Huge technology museum with original artifacts & interactive energy, transport & astronomy displays.via Google
The world's largest museum of science and technology, featuring interactive exhibits spanning aviation, astronomy, and marine navigation on an island in the Isar River.
- Good to know
- Massive scale; pick a few specific wings to visit rather than trying to see it all.

This is the most amazing and educational museum I have ever visited. It’s perfect for children over 3 years old. My 3-year-old and I had such a wonderful time exploring together. Our favorite parts were the robots, airplanes, transportation exhibits, the math section, and the educational playground on the ground floor. Everything is interactive, engaging, and thoughtfully designed for young children. We learned so much while having fun. Highly recommended for families!”
One of the best museums I have ever seen. What an wonderful display and information. This museum covers science, technology, physics, chemistry, aeronautical, musical, astronomy, printing and more and more... My sincere gratitude to the entire team of this great museum. One day is not enough to cover the entire museum. Nice interactive things to get more details about a particular topic. A must visit spot for every visitor and even for people living in Germany. Buy ticket in advance through online is advised to avoid wait and rush.
It's a nice musuem with lots of texts on how things work. You can learn about a lot about science and technogy from it, from aviation and how the planes fly to how cameras work. It's nice, but I thought the themeing and design could be a bit better in each of the rooms to balance out the geekines of the exhibitions
Really good science museum. There are so many things to explore and learn. You need to be organised and prepared in advanced. However, there are so many areas to be improved as Germany is a country with full of technologies. As an example, there is almost nothing about locomotive technology, nothing much about biology, nothing much on nanotec, atomic technology etc. I enjoyed and gained so much of knowledge!
I was there last week and it is massive. There are so many exhibits to see make sure you plan several hours to be there if you want to get a good look at everything. My main interest was the historical aircraft, primarily World War II Luftwaffe aircraft. I was pleasantly surprised at how they are displayed as they give you plenty of room to walk around them.
