Everything was just perfect — such a beautiful place with superb service! Vivek’s service was excellent. The veg food was truly amazing. When I asked if the veg and non-veg kitchens and fridges were separate, the lady confirmed they were. The aloo paratha, masala kulcha, butter roti were all soft and tasty, and the paneer and palak sabzi, dal rice, and salad were delicious. Even the starter (I forgot the name) was great. Must visit with family or friends!
Visited here for my birthday with family. The service was good. The food was awesome. The Banarasi Dahi ke Gular was a very good appetizer , however I did find the quantity to be lesser than expected. Only 3 pieces is way too less. For mains, we had Purvanchal Ka Saag along with Missi Roti and Garlic Naan. The saag tasted amazing. Both naan and roti were soft. Once again I found the quantity to be a bit less than expected. Next we ordered the Hyderabad Veg Dum Biryani with Black Daal. Loved the Biryani, it was perfectly flavoured. The black was was good too. For dessert I ordered the Kulfi Falooda, the Kulfi was nice, tasted great with the Rabdi added on top. Since it was my birthday, they offered a complementary Chocolate cake at the end. The cake was well decorated, extremely thick and rich. While leaving the restaurant, we were all offered Paan at the door by the bartender. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I’ve reduced 1 star because there were a few mosquitos where we were seated.
This was the best food I had in Mumbai. Everything from the drinks, food, and service was exceptional. I recommend the variety of seafood options they have. Although the lobster was delicious and impressive, my number one favorite was the sea bass. I don’t even usually eat sea bass but somehow ordered it here and was blown away by it. You must order the sea bass and thank me later.
Amazing experience. Good place for a date night. This paan cocktail was really tasty. And so was the mutton. Service was top notch.
The Sahib Room & Kipling bar Restaurant at St. Regis Mumbai has some delicious Mughlai food for Mughlai cuisine lovers. The restaurant's theme is inspired by the Mowgli story. The staff took us on a culinary safari and they are called by the Mowgli characters. We were served by Cheel and Mowgli. Cheel, the beautiful lady served us delicious dishes like Dhungari Gosht ki Gilawat, Sahib ki Nihari with Khameeri Kulcha and Gosht Biryani. I loved all the dishes as they all had great taste and stood out as unique even if you have one after the other. None of the dishes overpowered the taste. Let’s talk decor, the decor is meant to feel like you are on a jungle safari sitting under the tents. Just that this is sophisticated and has AC and an amazing look to it. Kids loved watching chefs at work through the glass window to the kitchen. The restaurant has dishes for everyone. Kids also loved their kebabs and desserts. Every dish here had an interesting story and Cheel(Kirti) told us the story very passionately. Mowgli (Pranay)the bartender served us delightful drinks. He is a true pleaser. You just have to talk to him and he will figure out the best drink for your mood.
