Taj Harbour Bar is pretty much the only place you’ll reliably find alcohol on a public dry day, and for that reason alone it attracts a lot of people. We went mainly for the occasion and to say we’d experienced it, rather than expecting good value for money. It’s very much a “you know what you’re walking into” kind of place. As expected from the Taj, the setting is polished, professional, and well presented, with attentive service and a calm, upscale atmosphere. It’s comfortable and refined, and you do feel looked after. That said, the prices are extremely high and impossible to ignore. We ordered four beers and four cocktails, and the bill came to over £80 (approximately 10,500 INR), which made it by far the most expensive drinks stop of our entire trip. While the quality and service are there, you’re paying a huge premium for the location, the name, and the fact that it’s one of the few options available on a dry day. It’s worth visiting once for the experience or for a special occasion, but it’s definitely not somewhere you’d choose for a casual drink or repeat visits unless budget really isn’t an issue. Overall, Taj Harbour Bar is a one-time, tick-it-off-the-list experience — impressive, but expensive. Follow us ➡️ @daddyslittlelunchbox
Cocktail was ok but didn't look like on the menu. Price was on the expensive side. Friendly service.
The atmosphere was okay, expected a vintage vibe but it was quite modern, having a Dj play during the daytime isn’t what you’d expect but overall okay experience
The atmosphere was nice and calming, the servers were friendly and helpful, and the air smells of roses, but the drinks took exceptionally long to make and were way overpriced for their quality. For a price of 2000rs per drink, the drinks should be served with better suited glassware and with clear ice. The presentation is nothing special and while the drinks are somewhat tasty, they are marked up well beyond what they are worth.
Great service and selection of drinks. Cocktail indeed didn’t look like on the picture. Price expensive Food tasty, but really just small snacks with some basic items missing, so insufficient for a dinner
