We had the most incredible meal here; everything from start to finish was well thought out with an amazing attention to detail. The flavours, textures and presentation were great as well as the service. We were celebrating our honeymoon as well as my husband’s birthday - we couldn’t have been happier to have celebrated here. Thank you to the whole team, I couldn’t recommend Masque enough!
Bigger Bolder Better that's what Masque 2.0 is going to be in September 2026. We celebrated the closing chapter of Masque 1.0 while wishing the very best for Masque 2.0. It was Varun Totlani’s take on reimagined Mumbai food memories. Having lived in Mumbai during my college days, the nostalgia was at its peak. From Bombay sandwich to bhutta, bun maska to the iconic crab, mulberry kala khatta and a nod to Varun’s Sindhi roots with arbi tuk, it felt like a deliciously reimagined food map of Mumbai on a plate. It takes a great deal of courage, precision and creativity to craft a menu like this and it surely deserves its place among the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants for achieving all of that so beautifully. Mirelle and team complemented the experience with service par excellence, while Aditi and Aditya created lasting memories with their warm hospitality. Excited to experience the bigger and better space and bold flavours at Masque 2.0 Masque | Mumbai | 50 Best | India | Best Restaurant | Yogita Uchil | Masque 2.0 | Food | Varun Tolani | Aditi Dugar | Mirelle | Aditya
The first three courses were quite decent. however being a tasting menu, the quantity was abysmal. Then the downfall started, the taste wasn't bad at all, but even the mains were so small that you would end up going back hungry. a small increase in the portion size would go a long way for me to revisit a new menu again. buy until then, I highly recommend skipping this place as there are plenty of options available. visit amadeo at bkc to compare, not a similar experience. however you would never go back home leaving disappointed. coming to the end of the menu, the mukhwas was an epitome of laziness. absolutely unworthy and felt like a cheating of sort to complete the number of items. the chef and the curator should be ashamed of even permitting it on the menu.
We booked here for the birthday celebration and had a wonderful time!! Very good wine selection and lots of wine by the glass options , the set menu it’s like a tour of India. At the end we choose the cocktail pairing , everything was wonderful !
Loved it! Service was amazing and equally important the food was brilliant. I'm always a bit reluctant to go to Indian fine dining because let's be honest Indian food is delicious even at the cheapest restaurants. This place does justice to the price tag. It wasn't pretentious fancy food masquerading as Indian. It was genuinely innovative and still held on to the Indian roots. The cocktails we tried were great too. Highly recommend!
