Stayed at Le Sutra recently and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel has a unique artistic theme that makes it feel different from a typical hotel. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable, with lots of interesting details throughout the property. The location in Bandra is excellent, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and Carter Road nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. A great choice if you're looking for something a little different in Mumbai.
I stayed at Le Sutra earlier this month for a few days and had a very disappointing experience. On the first day, I ordered their French toast and became extremely ill afterward. Initially, I didn’t assume it was the food, but the hotel closed their breakfast restaurant the following day, which raised concerns that the food may have been spoiled. The staff appeared disengaged and were neither attentive nor courteous. I also noticed a roach in the breakfast buffet area, which was unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Due to these issues, I canceled the remainder of my stay. It has now been 15 days, and I still have not received my refund. The hotel has not responded to emails or WhatsApp messages. I am in the process of escalating this matter to the appropriate authorities. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to concerns regarding cleanliness, food safety, and poor customer service.
I mean there aren't enough stars to give, They have the most polite staff, from housekeeping to front desk, to even security the server at the restaurant is too good as well, & the Omlet told me they do great food. Location is extremely appropriate for work & pleasure both. Rest, when in mumbai keep your workplace as close as you can
Clean rooms, great staff. A decent breakfast and close to Olive Bar and Kitchen and the Tanjor Tiffin Room. Only let down with single glazing and street noise, not helped by really noisy ac and extractor fans, as well as overstuffed pillows. Nicely decorated and a great shower.
I had the loveliest stay at Le Sutra , truly a gem of an Indian, mythologically inspired boutique hotel. My room was beautiful, filled with artwork and details that made it feel like stepping into a story. Every corner has an element of culture, symbolism, and creativity woven into it, which I absolutely adored. The breakfast was delicious , fresh and generous, but what truly made my stay special was the warmth of the staff. A heartfelt thank you to especially Anjali and Vishrutha, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. They made the hotel feel like home away from home. I left feeling rested, inspired, and taken care of. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to be back again on my next Mumbai trip.
