A must-visit place for anyone who appreciates art and creativity in Mumbai. Jehangir Art Gallery has such a calm and inspiring atmosphere, with beautiful paintings, photography, and artworks by talented artists from all over India. What I loved the most is how every visit feels different because of the changing exhibitions. Even if you are not deeply into art, the gallery still gives a very peaceful and aesthetic experience. Located near Kala Ghoda, it perfectly captures Mumbai’s artistic soul. Highly recommended for art lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to explore the cultural side of the city.
Well the gallery itself is OK to visit once. However , outside the gallery there are many artist on street display their art & painting which you can buy. You can get your LIVE potrait done by talented Artist at just Rs. 500. Of course you can bargain and make it more affordable. Prasad Bhandari is a talented artist and we get our first ever LIVE portrait done from him.
Mesmerizing experience for art lovers. Even though I’m not deeply into art, I really enjoyed my visit to Jehangir Art Gallery. Highly recommended, especially since there’s no entry fee inside the dome. Fun fact: it’s a great place to cool down during hot summer afternoons 😆
One of the most iconic art galleries of Mumbai which has been an integral part of the Kala Ghoda area in SOBO… Over the ages, it has displayed art of famous artists, including M.F. Husain, Mario and other contemporary artists from traditional to modern and beyond… I highly recommend checking out what the next exhibition is and visiting this famous art gallery.
Jehangir Art Gallery is a amazing peaceful and inspiring place, perfect for anyone who enjoys art. The entry is completely free for everyone. Inside, there are four galleries to explore : one for photography, one for abstract art, one for real-life paintings and a terrace section that shows creative mixed-style artwork. All galleries have amazings arts... Personally I visited on 21 Dec 2025,on that day An exhibition of Mahakumbh 2025 photography have organized having amazing realistic photos ❤️❤️ really loved it The halls are air-conditioned, clean and well-maintained so you can comfortably spend 1–2 hours here without any rush. Many artists display their work and if you like something, you can even buy it. The gallery is located in the Kala Ghoda area and it’s only about a 1 km walk from CSMT. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy creativity and discover new styles of art without spending anything. In nearby of this, Gatway of India is located within 500m 🥰🥰🥰 Must visit if you like arts and photography ❤️❤️❤️
