Had an amazing seafood experience at Gajalee! We tried the prawns kalamiri, prawns koliwada, pomfret khoshimbir, and bombil fry 🫶🏻every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The bombil fry was especially outstanding, crispy and delicious. Authentic coastal flavors, great quality seafood, and a very satisfying meal overall. Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers!

One of the most popular seafood restaurants in Vile Parle East, Mumbai. On weekends and public holidays, waiting time is expected and can range from 30 minutes to an hour, so make sure to register your name at the counter while you wait. The ambience is warm and welcoming, and the service is good, though delays are common during peak hours—so it’s best to place your order in one go. The food is undoubtedly excellent: portions may be on the smaller side, but the quality is top-notch. Prices are on the higher side, with most dishes around ₹500 and desserts priced at about ₹220. Thalis are sometimes unavailable (as happened during our visit), which meant ordering individual dishes and stretching the budget a bit. The variety of seafood on offer is fantastic—a true paradise for seafood lovers. Don’t miss the Solkadhi; it’s absolutely authentic. Desserts are optional and up to your preference. Enjoy your food...

Very good restaurant. Good staff, washroom, service and food. Fish thali was amazing and one of the best ever. Did not feel oily or excessively heavy. Fish also don’t taste off or strange. Just tasted amazing. Staff is polite and helpful in guiding what food to have.

If you love seafood and you are in Mumbai then it’s an absolutely must visit. I’ve been to Gajalee twice, first time in 2015 and 2nd time in 2026 and there’s no change in taste. The food is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. We enjoyed everything we ordered and almost licked the plates clean 😁. You are missing out on something good if you miss visiting places when in Mumbai. The servers, the on ground manager all warm, helping and courteous. They keep checking on you if you need anything and promptly serve food and remove empty plates. Overall Gajalee has my heart ❤️ and is on my must visit place every time I am in Mumbai.

Located on Hanuman Road in Vile Parle east, this is a well known restaurant for sea food. Has air conditioned and non AC room. Clean and neat. Service is very good. There is wait time during peak days and peak hours ranging from 20 to 40 minutes. You get to select the crab/fish/lobster/prawns. Preparation time in such cases could be around 20 minutes. They also have thali. Suggest you try solkadi. They are also known for desserts especially custard. Price is on a high side. Check the likely price when you are selecting Crab or fish as the final price is based on weight of crab/fish/lobster. Parking is roadside and could be an issue as this restaurant is very near a traffic signal. Hence Suggest you opt for valet service. Tried chicken thali, fish and prawn dishes.
