n terms of price-performance, I wasn’t very impressed. The dough is quite thick, and the pizza is served pre-cut into slices, which you eat with a fork. Because of the thick crust, it feels less like eating pizza and more like eating another dish with a fork. I personally didn’t enjoy it very much and also found it expensive. I paid €13 for a slice of pizza and a cola. The tables were not particularly clean, although you can choose to eat either inside at the tables or outside. If you’re visiting Milan and want to try the famous pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice), it may be worth stopping by once. However, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. 3/5
The Margherita pizza slice was absolutely delicious so fresh, flavorful, and the crust was perfect. Truly a yummy However, I was a little put off while watching them prepare the orders. I noticed they use the same pizza cutter (the rolling blade) for every single pizza without wiping or cleaning it between uses. I understand it's busy and it's only used on pizza, but for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions (like vegetarian or halal), this could be a real concern. A quick wipe with a clean cloth between pizzas would make a huge difference and show a commitment to food safety. The pizza is good enough to come back for, but I really hope they consider this small change.
Unique pizzas. Cut up into small bites. I believe it’s a chain. Overall unique and good. A bit pricey I think, but filling as well. About $9 euro for a single slice. Should be half the price I think. Worth trying once though.
***Quick, tasty street pizza*** Very fast service and you eat standing up, which gives it a real casual street-food vibe. The pizza is pre-baked with dough, tomato sauce and cheese, kept warm, and then finished with your chosen toppings after ordering. The dough is quite thick, so it’s definitely for people who like it that way - very filling and different from the typical thin Italian pizza. Overall very tasty and a good quick stop if you’re hungry and want something uncomplicated. Just note that there are no toilets available.
Spontini is amazing if you want classic Milanese pizza. The slices are huge, cheesy, and seriously comfortingyou can’t help but go back for more. It’s super casual and no-frills, but that’s part of the charm. The staff are friendly, and it always has a nice, lively local vibe. Honestly, it’s the perfect spot for a quick, delicious pizza fix in Milan.
