Ostello Bello Grande is a solid choice if you're looking for unbeatable convenience in Milan. Its location right next to the Central Station makes traveling and catching early trains incredibly easy. The hostel is perfect for backpackers on a budget; the rooms are decent and generally clean, though the beds feel a bit old and could use an upgrade. The ground floor stays very lively with a bar and restaurant area, which is great for meeting people, but be aware that it gets quite noisy at night with tourists drinking and smoking. If you're looking for a quiet, deep sleep, this might not be the place, but for a social atmosphere and a great location, it's definitely acceptable. Overall, a good experience for the price!
Great hostel! I didn’t participate in their activities (I was still adjusting to the time change and slept a lot) but the room was awesome (super comfortable bed!!!!) and omg the bathroom. HUGE. GREAT. I did go to the bar, the Aperol and pizza were DELICIOUS. Super helpful staff. My only “complaint” (if I had to say one) is that I don’t see how necessary is the lift code, but everything else is perfect.
you get what you pay for. clean sheets and comfortable bed, but they refuse to turn on aircon during hot summer nights. no fan in the room either. could not sleep. I would never stay here again, and not recommend to anyone who needs to sleep.
I just stayed for one night but it was all I needed. The location is great, just 100 m from Milano Centrale. The breakfast had many options and they gave me a free welcome drink when I arrived which was a nice detail. The only negative I would say, is that at least in my room which was 5 bed female dorm, the beds didn’t have privacy curtains and I was on the top bunk so if the lights were on it wasn’t great. The kitchen facilities were very complete, with free vegetables, spices and tea available. Overall I loved it and would come back!
Cant over sell this hostel, it was great, room was adequate 6 beds (2 triple bunks) with decent sized lockers, clean and good sized toilets with a good shower! They do free dinners and other events throughout the week, very welcoming and helpful staff! I spent a last minute weekend here and it was ideal, its a 2 to 5 min walk to the train station and other transport options are available very nearby.
