Overall, the restaurant was okay, but honestly a bit overhyped considering it’s known as one of the best seafood spots in Milan. For this price range, I’ve definitely had better experiences elsewhere in the city. The food was fine, but it felt like something was missing — that extra touch that makes a meal really stand out. They started us off with a complimentary antipasto, which was actually really good. Their tomato paste is very well done. We ordered the Crudo di pesce e crostacei — the scampi was my favorite, super fresh and sweet. The raw fish was decent, but for the price, I expected a bit more. The spaghetti with vongole was well made and worth trying. The gamberoni rossi were very fresh and went nicely with the tomato sauce — especially the shrimp head, which was full of flavor. The shrimp meat itself was just okay. Tiramisu is worth ordering too — the biscuit is crispier than usual and it’s not overly sweet, which I liked.
This was definitely a highlight of my trip to Milan. The vibe, service, and flavors were all great. It was a bit pricey, but the food was delicious overall. The dishes were simple yet refined, and you could really taste the richness of the ingredients.
As a devoted seafood lover, I chose Langosteria for lunch during a visit to Milan. With the restaurant at full capacity, my reservation proved essential. The welcome was professional and efficient. Service was attentive and well structured, with clear explanations of the menu and minimal waiting time between courses. The interior is elegant, and the open view of the kitchen adds a sense of movement to the space. Seafood quality was impeccable, presented in a restrained and classic style. The pasta was executed with precision. The overall experience felt coherent and confidently delivered Will visit again for sure!
We were recommended by our friends from Milan to try Langosteria, and we’re absolutely in love with this place! Fresh seafood, fabulous pasta and amazing salt baked fish. Will definitely be back every time we’re in Milan!
Honestly some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. I read reviews that it was good but I was shocked. We are tourists. We had the tasting menu - it was fantastic. Highly recommend the oysters and the warm seafood salad. Cocktails also were great. Their English was great. It certainly is classy so dress smart casual. No shorts - avoid basic t shirts etc. The team stop is close by too - so no excuse not to visit.
