Very disappointing experience, especially considering the high prices. Most of the seafood we ordered tasted extremely fishy and not fresh. The raw seafood was particularly unpleasant, with the exception of the oysters, which were the only item that tasted fresh. Several dishes were also overly salty. The fried fish was another disappointment. It was very dry, lacked flavor, and tasted bland. For a seafood restaurant, we expected much better quality and preparation. When we informed the manager that the seafood tasted fishy, he was polite and removed the dishes from our table. He initially offered us fish sashimi as a replacement, but we declined because after that experience, we no longer felt comfortable eating raw seafood. He then brought us a seafood salad, which was acceptable. Later, we were served the sea urchin spaghetti. The flavor was decent, but the pasta was severely undercooked. We tried our best to finish it because we didn’t want to create further issues. When we mentioned that the noodles were undercooked, the waiters began speaking among themselves in a language we did not understand, which made the situation feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we also noticed flies inside the restaurant during our meal, which further affected our confidence in the dining environment and overall hygiene standards. Overall, the food quality was below average, especially for a seafood restaurant charging premium prices. While the manager did attempt to address our concerns, the replacement dishes did not make up for the poor quality of the meal. Unfortunately, this was not an experience we would recommend.
The food in Italy it is know that it's the best. But here, it was spectacular. Everything has been perfect - fresh, very well cooked, the taste - just wow. We will be back for sure. Thank you. And Gina is the best.
The worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Milan — no exception. The restaurant manager claimed to speak fluent English, yet conveniently pretended not to understand and ended up adding an extra dish we never ordered. The extra dish — fried mussels priced at €25 — was unacceptable in every sense. One mussel was rotten and emitted a foul smell, while another contained a foreign object. When we showed this to the manager, he took the plate away and returned twenty minutes later with nothing more than a casual, “The chef is sorry.” Despite this, the dish still appeared on our bill. After eating that spoiled mussel, I felt extremely nauseated and explained the situation to the waiter, requesting to cancel one of the main courses. I was told that it was already being prepared and could not be canceled, yet it only arrived half an hour later. When it came time to pay, the waiter, Leo, didn’t even show us the bill for confirmation. He simply brought the card machine and asked me to tap. Only after the payment went through did he hand us the itemized receipt, and that’s when we realized that the bad mussel dish had been charged in full. We tried to discuss a refund for the spoiled dish with the person in charge, but his attitude was shockingly rude. He even insulted us several times. After disappearing into the kitchen for ten minutes, he came back, angrily threw €25 in cash on the table, and shouted at us to get out of the restaurant. When a colleague asked what had happened, he twisted our words to make it sound like we were being unreasonable customers. We did not take the cash. Before leaving, we told the manager that this review would be written — he showed no concern at all. After returning home, I developed dizziness and nausea, clear symptoms of food poisoning. To anyone reading this: please value your precious dinner time. If you don’t want to risk eating spoiled seafood and being treated disrespectfully, avoid this place at all costs. I’m sorry that the attached photos may look unpleasant, but they show the reality of what you might end up eating here.
Came here for seafood. Food was great, fresh and nicely presented. Service was good but a bit pushy. We were served with appetiser champagne once seated (was told it’s free) but charged us €10/person when paying the bill. Other than this it was all good. Still recommend!
A very chic place, very busy ,hard to have a table at weekend, so I understand that was a bit narrow. The food is fresh, got many types of oysters , their service was great, dishes which we ordered were 8.5/10, some of them are bit salty, smaller portion than other restaurants.
