The older gentleman at the bar when you first walk in was phenomenal. Very attentive. I'm here on vacation by my self and he made me feel safe and comfortable. I really enjoyed myself. Personally I would book a flight just to hit up this place again. Only downside and the reason I left was the 7$ water I don't know if that's normal for this area but it was kind of surprising. I'm a nonconfrontational person so I bought since I was a bit intoxicated and needed it. Where I'm from they don't have bathroom attendants so I definitely mistake them as a patron but they were really good spirited. All in all was a really good experience. I wish I knew the bar tenders name to give them credit but I can state enough how great they were.

Coming from out of state, it was a nice place to hangout for a bit.Music videos, classic movies and music that changed throughout. Note the party doesn't start until midnight for you early sleepers lol. Bartenders were great!

I was very excited to visit Twist while in town, as it’s often talked about as a must-see LGBT nightclub. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype, especially compared to other LGBT clubs I’ve visited across the country. The music was good and kept the energy going, but the overall atmosphere felt lacking. The club lighting was surprisingly underwhelming—mostly old-style, wedding DJ–type lights rather than the dynamic, immersive lighting you’d expect from a popular nightclub. This made the space feel dated and less exciting. Drink prices were another major downside. They were extremely overpriced and wildly inconsistent depending on the bartender. At one bar, we ordered 3 shots that were served in tiny disposable shot glasses and somehow totaled over $45. Later, at a different bar, we paid the same amount but received much more generous pours in a glass. That kind of inconsistency is frustrating, especially at those prices. To make matters worse, a very small bottle of water cost $6. Mario deserves a shoutout as he was the best bartender of all of the ones we visited. The layout also didn’t offer many options if you wanted to step away from the noise—there was almost nowhere quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting, except for outside or a hallway. While we still managed to have a good time overall, the experience didn’t feel worth the money. Twist wasn’t terrible, but it fell short of expectations and doesn’t stand out when compared to other LGBT nightlife spots around the country.

I come to Twist during the week if I can , I don’t go out much. But I love it here! I feel safe and always have a great time. I always feel welcome, at home! I’m a local, I understand the drink prices it’s Miami Beach, Duh!! All to say, a true home Bar for the Gays❤️‍🔥

First and last time coming to twist. Bartenders select their own tips. Jorge was my bartender and he selected his own tip. I didn’t figure this out until I went into the next bar and they allowed me to choose my own tips. Bartenders steal from you !! Do not go to this bar.
