The Edition Hotel is absolutely amazing so clean, beautiful, and classy. The atmosphere feels luxurious from the moment you walk in & even the scent throughout the hotel is incredible. The staff is kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the food at Matidor & Market Place is some of the best I’ve ever had. We tried the egg sandwich, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, and chicken & mashed & fish sweet potatoes & much more lol all were excellent. The room service coffee is also a favorite. Every detail feels high end making the whole experience truly worth every penny. Honestly, ignore any low reviews this place is fabulous and delivers a true luxury stay from start to finish.
I was very disappointed with my current experience at The Miami Beach EDITION, particularly with the way my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status was handled at the front desk. As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I understand that room upgrades are based on availability upon arrival and are never guaranteed. However, what was most frustrating was not simply being denied an upgrade; it was the manner in which the situation was handled. The front desk stated that the hotel was fully booked, yet the property appeared far from full. Based on my experience with Marriott properties, this explanation felt dismissive and misleading rather than transparent. I have stayed at many Marriott hotels and have rarely had issues being fairly considered for available Platinum upgrades. At this property, however, it felt as though the staff were making excuses to avoid honoring loyalty benefits for a member who spends a significant amount with Marriott. That kind of treatment is disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly embarrassing for a hotel positioned at this level. A luxury hotel should train its front desk team to communicate honestly and respectfully, especially with loyal guests. If an upgrade is unavailable, guests deserve a clear and truthful explanation, not what feels like a scripted excuse. Marriott loyalty benefits are a major reason many guests continue choosing the brand, and those benefits should not be handled casually or selectively. I would strongly recommend that management look into how Platinum Elite upgrade requests are being handled at this property. The experience came across as tacky, avoidant, and inconsistent with the standard I expect from Marriott and The EDITION brand. Loyal guests should feel valued, not dismissed or misled. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to Marriott Bonvoy elite members who expect professional service and fair recognition of their loyalty status.
Miami Beach EDITION exceeded all expectations. The property is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms, exceptional service, and a perfect location right on the beach. Every member of the staff was welcoming, attentive, and committed to making our stay memorable. The restaurants, pools, and overall atmosphere strike the perfect balance between luxury and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a stylish beach vacation, this hotel delivers a truly first-class experience. We can’t wait to return.
My spouse and I just wrapped up a 4-day, 3-night stay at the Miami Beach EDITION (April 24th–27th), and it was truly a perfect getaway. The entire property feels incredibly spacious and grand, yet the interior design—especially in the lobby—keeps it feeling sophisticated and luxurious. We stayed in a Bungalow, which was located in a separate section of the hotel. It felt very private and tucked away. The room itself was well laid out and roomy; while we had a view of the ocean, the real charm was overlooking the original pool area of the historic Seville Hotel. It was a cool nod to the property’s history while enjoying modern comforts. The Food & Drink: Market:Our go-to for breakfast. You have to try one of the smoothies—they are fantastic. The only minor critique was the coffee, which tasted a bit like it had been on the burner a little too long, but it was decent enough to get the day started. Matador Room:This was a total standout, not just in the hotel but in all of Miami. The service was fantastic and highly attentive. They have an exceptional wine list, and the caviar service was absolute perfection. The Amenities: The Spa: Very relaxing and beautifully lit. A highlight was the lemon mint chlorophyll water —it was the perfect refreshment before and after our couples massage. The Pool: Service here was top-notch. A huge shout-out to the poolside staff who were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. From the professional and accommodating front desk team to the high-end design, every detail was handled with care. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!
My husband and I want to send an exceptional thank you for an wonderful birthday celebration for him at the Miami Beach Edition. Phenomenal staff members would include, but are not limited to, Cody and Zeynep at the front desk, Tatianna at Market, and Val, Braxton, and Chef Chris at Matedor Bar. Their consistent exceptional service and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back because of their efforts and consistency. Overall the experience was 5-star largely due to the exceptional staff that was mentioned.
