Rooms are definitely on the small side, but to be fair, you know what you’re signing up for when you book here. They’re not as bad as people make out — the real shame is the lack of a balcony, which would make a huge difference. The location is fantastic. You’re right in the middle of everything in South Beach, so no complaints there. The resort fee perks are actually decent: pool party entry included, plus bike hire and beach chairs, which is a nice touch. My biggest issue — and the thing that genuinely affected our trip — was the ridiculous deposit taken at check‑in. We expected the resort fees, but not the extra $100 per night on top. For a 5‑night stay, we had to hand over $750 before even getting to our room. Yes, you get it back eventually, but that doesn’t help when you’re actually in Miami and suddenly missing a big chunk of your spending money. It definitely took the shine off the trip. Great location, fun vibe, but the deposit situation needs sorting.
I recently hosted an event at The Goodtime Hotel, and I can confidently say everything was impeccable from start to finish. The level of service was truly outstanding, spearheaded by Kristina Yepez and her right-hand F&B manager, Luis Castro. Their leadership was evident in every detail. A special thank you as well to Priscila in the kitchen, and Lindsey and Terrance behind the bar, along with the entire team, who were incredibly hands-on, ensuring every sip and every bite delighted our guests. Their attentiveness and energy made a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. The venue itself is just as remarkable. It’s charming, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly captures that relaxed yet vibrant Miami spirit. The balanced flamingo tones, playful aesthetic, and upbeat elements unmistakably reflect the creative influence of Pharrell Williams throughout the property. Spaces like Strawberry Moon and the Mangrove Terrace offer the perfect setting for hosting memorable events, stylish, versatile, and full of character. On top of that, the hotel is ideally located in that sweet spot: close to all the action, yet just steps away from the iconic Miami Beach shoreline. I’m so glad we chose this venue, it was truly on point in every sense. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host an event with exceptional service and an unforgettable atmosphere.
I keep returning to The Goodtime Hotel and for good reason. The service is consistent, the standards are high, and the whole experience simply works. There is a real sense of ease about the place. It manages to be social without being noisy, relaxed without losing its edge. You feel better for being there. On this visit we were fortunate to be in one of their top suites. It is exceptional: space, light, and a calm confidence in the way it is put together. A proper room. Breakfast is done properly. The avocado toast is the best I’ve had, and the yogurt parfait was just the ticket. What sets it apart, however, is Ibrahim Shaker and his team. They run the place properly. Nothing is too much trouble. The charm never stops, yet never feels forced. There is a sense of community here that you do not often see. People want to be there, and it shows.
I enjoyed my stay at the Goodtime Hotel. The rooms are cozy and cute! You can't beat being 2 blocks from the beach and access to free chairs. It has a lot of spots to be wind down, socialize, or even catch up on a llittle work. The staff is very accommodating. The pool area is fun and the hotel is near many spots for food and provisions. I came in the fall and look forward to a summer stay! Loved the welcome glass of prosecco at check in!
