We came here for my birthday weekend and somehow managed to spend 3 days chasing a birthday dessert that never actually happened 😂 Night one: we went to the rooftop at Watr, ordered dessert, and right as it was about to come out… a massive thunderstorm hit and we all got absolutely soaked. The staff kindly brought towels, which we appreciated, but I was slightly questioning the “sit guests outside during a thunderstorm” strategy lol. Night two: after the rooftop experience, we decided to play it safe and stay in the room for dessert instead. The cake arrived, the server said she’d be right back with the candle/light… and then 30 minutes passed with nothing. I finally called downstairs and found out candles are apparently not allowed in the rooms 😂 Honestly, I’m kind of glad I didn’t invest in buying a condo there if a birthday candle is too dangerous for the building. The funniest/saddest part was that after all the waiting, someone actually came back and took the dessert away from my very confused 3-year-old daughter 😭😂 The manager later messaged apologizing and invited us to breakfast at Aviv so they could “make it right” with the birthday dessert there. We went… and once again, no dessert appeared. The follow-up message finally came after we had already checked out. At that point, dealing with 3 meltdowns from my disappointed toddler over the missing birthday candle situation was honestly tough 😭😂 That said, she loved the pool, which definitely saved the trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, but check-in and luggage service were also slow due to holiday weekend.

From the moment I arrived, and I mean the moment, pulling up at 2am, Matt greeted me at the front door. He then brought me inside and told me he upgraded me to a 1 Bedroom Suite, which I wasn’t expecting at all. That set the tone for the entire stay. I booked through Amex, so I came in with some perks including complimentary breakfast, a $100 resort credit, and 4pm late checkout, but honestly the hotel delivered way beyond that. I ordered a Wagyu cheeseburger at 4am which was phenomenal. The next morning I headed straight to the rooftop pool and WATR, Between the rooftop, the beach, the food, and the bar, everything was fantastic. I also found out there aren’t just two pools. There are four. The staff across the board, Matt and Tanner at the front desk, the restaurant team, pool staff, everyone, were all 10/10. The lobby has this modern, sleek feel with a scent that incredible. The chicken sausage at breakfast was one of the best things I ate all trip (from the hotel) I went into the weekend with high expectations and everything was exceeded. Highly recommend, and I’ll absolutely be back.

I had an incredible stay at the One Hotel! The room service was truly exceptional they made sure we had everything we needed from top to bottom. A huge shoutout to Andres, Lovensky, and Matt—they were all so helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Their friendliness and professionalism really stood out. I can’t recommend One Hotel enough for anyone looking for an amazing experience!

We stayed here 17-23rd February 2026 Pros - large spacious rooms. Furniture is modern and tasteful - large bathrooms with full bath - private beach and good range of pools including adult only - decent food options and great selection of cocktails Cons - this is a very loud hotel. The top floor restaurant and pool area is ridiculously loud. You will not be able to hear the person across the table or your own music - service is pretty mediocre at this price point. Staff are very courteous but sometimes disinterested - the beach is a missed opportunity to offer luxury - the chairs are rammed together. Sun loungers are basic plastic chairs. On the plus side, it is quiet on the beach - there are not enough elevators - on some occasions we had to wait over 5 minutes for one

I apologize in advance. I do not have to words to describe how much I hate this hotel. It is the epitome of “terrible design, great execution”. This is a huge hotel with a circle drive smaller than a McDonald’s drive-thru. The lobby is also tiny an placed a sandwich shop, an oddly-placed bar, and clothing kiosks. The front desk is set back in a low-ceiling, cave-like area. There are kinetic artworks that will shine light in your face. There is music blasting. To get to the beach, go to the third floor. Be careful for the bellhops, they will use the already busy elevators with you and 6 other guests. Follow the signs to the first pool deck. There is music blasting. Go down the steps the next pool. There is music blasting. Go down another set of steps and through a restaurant. There is music blasting. Now cross the bike path and you’re there. Do you want to use the rooftop pool instead? Go back through the maze to the top floor and enter the restaurant. There will be music blasting. Through the restaurant is an adults only pool. Do you want to spend intimate time with your significant other in your hotel room? You can sit at the far end of your room and look through the shower and into the water closet to maintain eye contact as they sit on the toilet. You can also enjoy a laugh as they are doused in cold water because the shower head is placed to soak anyone who dares turn it on. If you need to excuse yourself, go to your balcony which looks directly into your neighbors’ balconies. This hotel has no privacy and no place to relax. Get the travel insurance so you can get out early if you need to. Faena is much nicer.
