Our guide assured us Tacos El Huequito was the place to go for al pastor, as everyone from Anthony Bourdain to Eva Longoria had attested to in the past. And she was not wrong - watching these guys at work was extremely impressive, and the tacos are sensationally good. Lots of locals in their sit-in area as well, which I always take to be a good sign.

This place was excellent. My husband and I shared the Al pastor tacos - it made about 8 small tacos. The carousel of sauces was a fun experiment to make the best, spiciest taco possible. My husband was still a little hungry after finishing the al pastor tacos and he ordered the arracherra taco and thought it also was really good. Really great quality for a great price. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely incredible food! Honestly the best Pastor Taco I had my entire time in CDMX. Service was good, the chef making the tacos knew exactly what he was doing. Atmosphere could be a bit better; it's nice, but had an industrial feel to it. There are some outside seats that might be nicer to sit at. Overall a great place, good prices and even better food.

Unassuming place, but don’t underestimate it. Food is really good! I’m glad we ate here as many locals seem to favor this place. At first I thought it was only take out but take a few steps past the rotating meat and there’s a dine-in resto inside. It seems that their motto is to give you this masterpiece of multiple sauces that you can use for your dishes. I tried all and not one disappointed. When it came to the food, I over-ordered since I wanted to try as much as we could. And even then, the total bill was affordable for 3. Id suggest their Al pastor special, it’s meant to be shared so grab one and try their other dishes. It’s a unique eatery and one of the highlights of our México trip.
