We’ve always wanted to try this place but never got around to it. Went in recently and sat at the bar, two of us. Barman (server?) came over and explained the menu in great detail. A huge selection of dishes and we wanted to try as many as we could. I’m afraid I can’t remember the names of all of them, but I do remember the Cecina, that’s the air-dried wagyu Beef. Not my favourite, but it was good. All the other dishes were excellent. Wine also good. Special shoutout to the server who took the time to explain everything and even took a couple of photos of us when we asked. Excellent food. Excellent Wine. Excellent service. 5/5 Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
Great Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere was great with the right type of music, the wait staff were attentive just the right amount, and the food was delicious! The wine selection was just enough not to be overwhelming with some great choices for pairings with the delicious tapas and other plates. We basically rolled out of the restaurant!
Absolutely amazing. Haven't been back to movida in many years but it's as good if not better than I remember. The Bomba rice is absolutely worth the wait and was the standout of the meal alongside the smoked kingfish gazpacho dish. Service was friendly and personable and cosy yet bustling. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Hope the rice stays on the menu!
OMFG … yum!!!! Tapas were exquisite 👌 THIS is the food you want to experience when eating out. I definitely couldn’t reproduce these amazing dishes at home. Service was friendly, hospitable & attentive, without being in your face. Atmosphere was upbeat but calm, great location. Highly recommend ❤️🇪🇸
Dined at MoVida on a Monday evening during Christmas period. The dining room was full, the drinks pouring, food flying out the kitchen. We had wonderful service, and the food matched. The restaurant was a little loud, but still fine to talk across the table. Some highlights from the menu: - Zucchini and manchego croquettes (Girlfriends favourite) - Steak tartare with horseradish on a cracker - Blood sausage with hash brown, and a fried egg (sauce was yum) Would recommend to come here for any occasion. The wine list is diverse and has a great number of imported Spanish wines. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
