The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions at a very reasonable price. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. A special thanks to Mimi for her wonderful service—she was so kind and attentive, and she really made our dinner special. Thanks to her, my boyfriend and I had such a happy and memorable evening. Highly recommended!
We got in last minute last night for a big ol’ bowl of laksa. Didn’t wait for a table, didn’t wait more than a few minutes for our order to come out. The service was diligent and friendly. It was still quite busy an hour before closing but the restaurant is set well for many patrons. Generous portion sizes and delicious flavours!
Absolutely delicious! The meals were huge and full of flavour. Couldn't finish mine 😞. It's worth booking as it is extremely busy and you'll have quite a considerable wait.
We came for a dinner on Sunday and it was very full, so had to wait around 30-40minutes. And the food arrived 15 mins after ordering. We had the seafood laksa and cha kwe tiao - which both really impressed us! The laksa broth is thick and had great flavour. No wonder they’re called Laksa King! Kwetiao had a good amount of wok hey, the rice noodle texture was great - we enjoyed everything! We came back a few days later on weekdays lunch time. Arrived around 11.30am so was still quiet (before lunch rush). Food arrived under 10 minutes. We got the laksa again, and this time we also tried their Nasi Lemak (tender beef rendang, tasty coconut rice and pickles) - though the anchovy could have been crispier. Tofu vegetable stir fry was also delicious!
We had dinner at Laksa King and tried the veg laksa — it was amazing, we absolutely loved it. The roti canai was also delicious and highly recommended. The only downside is that the tables are quite close together and the place is always busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, and it can feel noisy and a bit overcrowded if you want a relaxed meal. Customer service, however, was good. Pleanty of parking nearby and its free. Also close to train station.
