The best museum i've ever visited. It's so interesting with so many interactive activities. There is a arcade zone there too so you can play with your friends, your kids or even make new friends there. The creativity in these illusions are insaneeee. I love this museum so much. I would recommend my friends to go there to. It right beside the river so after visting the museum you can have a longggg walk along the river and take pictures there

My recent visit to the ACMI Play School exhibition was a delightful trip down memory lane. It was fascinating to learn about the production of this beloved Australian children's program and to see iconic props like the Play School toys and the Rocket Clock. This exhibition successfully taps into a sense of nostalgia and shared cultural heritage.

This place is a must see while on holiday. They have free and paid exhibits. What I REALLY loved were these cardboard discs we were given for free at the entrance. You scan the cardboard discs to each informative piece of art within the exhibit and it saves it onto the code embedded into the disc. You can then take this disc home, login on their website and view everything you scanned for free. This reduced the need to photograph what you wanted to remember, and also encouraged our young kids to scan things and be more interactive with the exhibits.

I recently travelled to Melbourne to see The Vinyl Factory: Reverb at ACMI. Being a huge vinyl nerd, I really enjoyed the exhibition. As for ACMI itself, I was so impressed with this gem in the heart of Melbourne! The first thing I noticed after the short stroll from Flinders Street Station was ACMI's architecture. It's quite a grand building inside and out. I also found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I spent several hours at the exhibition and in the shop, and if you appreciate the arts ACMI should be on your must visit list when in Melbourne.
