We didn’t book a table as it was an impromptu visit on our 2nd night in Marrakesh. They were fully booked but accommodated us very kindly for a quick meal. The decor, ambience and atmosphere is as described and is the perfect place for an evening meal. We got the ravioli and chicken tagine. The ravioli was fresh and delicious. The chicken tagine was cooked perfectly where the meat fell off the bone with the potatoes absorbing the additional stew juices. For dessert, we shared the apple tart and chocolate fondant. The fondant was very rich and was perfect after having the cooler tart. We recommend booking in advance. In terms of price, it is probably on the higher end in Marrakesh however you won’t be disappointed.

We visited twice during our time in Marrakech, based on recommendations for Gluten Free options. The resturant is beautiful with a great atmosphere and setting for a romantic dinner or group meal. The Gluten Free options are clearly marked on the menu but you must ask for the GF pasta as it is not listed otherwise. The first night my wife had the Chefs salad which she said was fabulous whilst I had the Tortellini, and we shared the Cassata for dessert with the obligatory mint tea (one of the best we had during our trip). Due to the above we returned 2 nights later, but found the service slower than our previous trip. On this occassion, we opted fpr the same dish, the Fettucine but requesting one of them gluten free. This saw the fettucine swapped for gf penne and the parmesan shavings taken out for grated cheese. The switching of the cheese impacted the flavour of the dish and I would recommend suggesting they keep the shavings on the gf version. For the dessert we tried the raspberry sorbet which was delicious. Where possible, book a table as you will be seated near the pool...

Tucked inside a serene riad in the Medina, Pepe Nero offers a refined Italian escape with a distinctly romantic atmosphere. The setting is undeniably beautiful—soft lighting, elegant courtyards, and a sense of calm that feels worlds away from the bustle outside. The menu leans on fresh, high-quality ingredients, which shine throughout. Starters like the salmon tartare and the Chef’s salad were clean, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. For mains, the egg tortellini stuffed with cheese and porcini mushrooms stood out for its richness and depth, while the linguine with clams in spider-crab and squid sauce delivered a briny, seafood-forward punch. A charming spot for a leisurely dinner, where the ambiance is as memorable as the food.

I love love this restaurant. It’s my favorite. Been there twice since my visit to Marrakech. The waiter remembers my last order and they are so welcoming. Attentive and will give you the best service. The food is amazing. You have Italian and Moroccan food. Both of best choice.

This restaurant was probably the best we visited. Excellent atmosphere, service, food and the location was easy to find thanks to ”Maps.me” We had what you can see on the pictures including each a glass of their ”house wine” and the total bill was 635 Dhs. We dropped in for lunch but you might want to make a reservation for dinner. Instagram senior_globetrotters
