We had a lunch reservation booked in advance, checking in with the host at the gift shop was polite and efficient. After arriving at the restaurant the experience was terrible. No one came with menus, no one came to take our order, we ordered a bottle of water with 3 different people before it arrived. There’s a manager walking around but he mostly chats to the older lady guests. The food was delicious but we could never go back with the lack of service. There’s no pictures of the included dessert but we ordered it and after 30 minutes it still hadn’t arrived so we paid & left. Never again.
My review is only for the Fenn Rooftop. The ambience was amazing. There was an issue with our reservation, but the manager handled it very professionally. Bravo. The food portions, however, were way too small. We are a group of spoiled Peruvians and we are used to eating well 😅 My Mhemssa risotto with prawns and mussels from Oualidia was good, but the two mussels served on my plate were overcooked and not just small, microscopically small. I really think they should work on the portions, as they were absolutely too small for the price and concept. Overall: 4/5. Highly recommended for the atmosphere and service.
El Fenn first and foremost has amazing staff. They make you feel welcome and at home, it is more than a hotel. The rooms are all amazing and each one is unique. The sitting areas in each square are welcoming and relaxing. Special call out to Jimmy, who was absolutely amazing with dinner service. The location is perfect for exploring the area. A wholly unique experience, I can't wait to return! Oh and I almost forgot! Two beautiful house cats (and one neighbor cat) that's worth 5 ⭐ just for them!
Beautiful rooftop bar. No bookings but yummy cocktails and plenty of delicious snacks sufficient for dinner. If you want something fancier the restaurant on the roof is also beautiful but they don’t serve food until 7pm which didn’t suit us having a 3 year old. Definitely recommend
A brilliant restaurant for a lovely romantic night out. Definitely the more upscale restaurant we did in town--and we did many--but really lovely place. Great food, beautiful location, which I would even come for the rooftop bar next time for sunset! Highly recommend if you want a lovely night out for dinner!
