3.5, the aesthetic/vibe was very nice-family friendly actually has lots of seating but still a very nice resto, even al freso looked nice. food itself was good but nothing too special, still enjoyable though. a bit average-good for the ones we ordered. favorite might be the pork or the truffle pasta. jerk chicken is NOT jerk chicken so that was a bit disappointing. best part besides the atmosphere was the staff/service-manager was proactive and very nice. staff were friendly too
The appetisers we had were good. My main meal tasted good and cooked perfectly but portion of salmon was really small broken into irregular pieces, unfortunately not very appetising to look at. May I suggest to cube it if you need to serve in pieces. The pork was tender and tasted great. Staff were busy but attentive and nice. I would go back but order a different main.
Wholesome Table offers quality food. This really reflects on the taste of the food that they are offering. Just on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Loved the Full English Breakfast.
⭐ (1/5) Rigid kitchen, sugar-heavy options, and not friendly to low-carb/keto diets. I really wanted to like this place given the name "The Wholesome Table," but it was a major disappointment for anyone strictly watching their carb or sugar intake. I ordered the herb-roasted chicken, which comes with pomme purée (fancy mashed potatoes). I asked the server if I could substitute the high-carb potatoes for a small side of veggies or just leave it out for something greener, but the kitchen was completely rigid—no substitutions allowed. It makes no sense that a restaurant marketing itself as "wholesome" won't accommodate a simple request to make a dish healthier and lower carb. Furthermore, don't let the "detox" label on the drinks fool you. Most of them are loaded with fruit sugars. They surprisingly lack genuine sugar-free drink options, so I had to hack my own iced tea with my own stevia just to get a zero-sugar beverage. The food quality itself is decent, but the experience is frustrating. Just because a place sells organic or "detox" items doesn't mean it’s actually health-conscious for modern diets like Keto or Low Carb. If you have strict dietary goals, prepare to be disappointed by their inflexibility.
Food is delicious, dipping sauce for the chicken inasal is good! They offer a lot of healthy food option. Would love to come back and try more of their menu.
